An Indian white metal cigarette case engraved with the Taj Mahal, a green hard stone figure of a Geisha, height 36cm, and two carved stone pendants (4).Additional InformationThere are several chips to the raised parts especially around the lower section of robe and the base, the bale loop attachment is a modern plastic example on one of the pendants which has a few small chips to the edges. The darker pendant has a few light marks and heavy tarnishing to the cigarette case.
A Chinese Tibetan style ewer (Penba Hu) decorated with the eight Buddhist symbols (Bajixiang) and with spout protruding from the jaws of a qilin, painted Qianlong mark to base but not of the period, height 20cm.Additional InformationMinor rubbing to gilding, light staining to cover and natural pitting to glaze, some white tiny areas showing through under the yellow ground, the yellow ground does not 'fill' all of the fields very accurately. This has Qianlong marks but it is NOT of the period.

Virtue & Co Ltd, 294 City Road, London, bound in red leather.Additional InformationPublished by Virtue & Co Ltd of London, these are the imperial edition and although are not dated appear to be circa 1880-1900. Boards are solid, some light scuffing to top and toe, a few tiny holes to the leather to the side of the spine and a few scuffs. Light foxing in parts but overall in good condition. Unknown if all plates are present.
