Sir Phillip Sassoon multiple signed Port Lympne Flying Log Book 1934 to 1937. More of a visitors book as all his famous freinds signed it when he took them flying. About 190 entries in the book for VIPs Sassoon flew in his Gull Aircraft, some did multiple trips so will have multiple autographs. Rex Whistler British painter, designer and illustrator, who was killed in action in the Second World War. Squadron Leader Oswald Robert Compton Moseley Died 1941.Very rare Battle of Britain signatures of P/O Timothy Wildblood. On graduation, Wildblood joined 152 Squadron on 1st October 1939, then forming at Acklington with Gladiators. On 27th February 1940, with P/O JSB Jones, Wildblood shared in the destruction of a He111 which crashed into the sea 10 miles off Coquet Island, Northumberland. The Heinkel was a He 111H-3 from 3/KG26 operating from Schleswig. Wildblood claimed a Me109 destroyed on 11th August 1940, a Me110 on the 12th and a Ju87 and another shared on the 18th. He failed to return from combat over the Channel on 25th August in Spitfire R6994. F/O P.B.Robinson was the leader of Red Section No 601 Squadron flying Hurricane's. He scored one kill before and two during the Battle of Britain and forced a Bf 109 to land in a field South of Maidstone.Also has some black and white photos and letters and correspondence regarding Folkestone Aero Trophy, Cinque Ports Flying Club, plus original programme for 1933 Grand International Light Aeroplane Race.Needs more research to identify all the autographs, which is sure to yield some interesting and valuable signatures. The album is housed in a professionally made box with title on the Spine.

Polar.- Amundsen (Roald) The South Pole: An Account of the Norwegian Antarctic Expedition in the "Fram", 2 vol., first English edition, plates, folding maps, occasional foxing, contemporary ink gift inscription to endpapers, original pictorial cloth, light fading to spines, light rubbing to spine ends and corners, flag motif to vol. 1 spine a little rubbed but a bright and excellent set generally, 8vo, 1912.⁂ An excellent set of Amundsen's classic account of his reaching the pole some 34 days before Scott.

Commander Evans was a member of Scott's Terra Nova expedition and accompanied Scott to within 150 miles of the South Pole before being sent back in command of the second supporting party. He almost perished of scurvy but survived and toured the country giving lectures on the expedition.

Limoges - chips to rims, cups cracked.
A CS & Co Paragon china teaset, the fluted cups with green transfer printed cameo decoration, comprising eleven cups, twelve saucers and plates, milk jug and sugar bowl together with a Salisbury Mona pattern teaset Condition Report: cups all have issues, either cracked or discoloured and dull in sound. saucers and plates are all ok. Light surface scratches. Mona set - 2 cups cracked, 2 discoloured, other pieces ok, all have light surface scatches.
