A pair of blackamoor torcheres in the 19th century Venetian style, each modelled as a young boy in gilt scroll decorated jacket and striped pantaloons supporting a floral brimmed urn issuing nine-light electrolier with gilt scroll branches on his head and standing on a baroque style serpentine shaped gilt highlighted base with leafy scroll adorned angles, probably Italian mid 20th century, fitted for electricity, each 213cm high.
An early 20th Century Bohemian glass pendant light fitting. The upper canopy in a cased white over ruby ground with scalloped edge and flash cut panels, the whole set with graduated strings of facet cut crystal droppers falling to a cased pendant drop. The whole decorated with hand enamelled floral sprays and gilt line detail, measures approx 16" deep.
An ornate mid 20th Century Venetian wall light having a central invert bell form bowl with applied crimped trim set with graduated double gourd form dropper, the top set with a twin branch wrythen arms with frilled collars and a pair of tall flowers with graduated twisted and crimped leaves. Most of the clothing labelled 'Wm Anderson & Sons Ltd., Edinburgh & Glasgow', with tin travelling trunk. Note: In the post war years Capt. Brodie was a G.P. in Glasgow

A mid-Victorian Staffordshire pottery hen tureen and cover, the base in the form of a basket and the cover as a chicken roosting on her eggs, the bird basically light brown but with feathers coloured in grey and darker shades of brown, the basket enamelled in lighter orange-brown, overall length 22.2cm, unmarked, circa 1850-80 (some enamel flaking). A Davenport "Rural Scenery" series soup tureen stand, of oval shape with moulded rim, printed in light blue with a central scene of two boys playing in front of a country cottage, within the usual border of flower and scroll framed scenic vignettes, length 33.0cm, printed title cartouche mark with maker's name, circa 1825-35. An "Endsleigh Cottage" pattern small square drainer, probably from the Passionflower border series, with no rim but on four small feet, printed in light blue with the identified scene (no border), width 16.7cm, unmarked, circa 1825-35 (slight discolouration, small chip to edge of one hole underneath).
