Deployment clasp in good working order and the original leather strap also in very good condition with minor signs of wear commensurate with age. We are not able to open the case to access the movement. No box or papers

A framed and glazed WWI black and white photograph depicting a large amount of troops of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry "leaving for the war" (see inscription to reverse) in August 1914, from the Curragh, County Kildare together with a contemporary framed and glazed French print: The Armistice Du 11 Novembre 1918 depicting the train in a wooden siding of Marshall Foch. The Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry were deployed to Ireland to defend the 'Curragh Mutiny' and mobilised for war on 5 August 1914. They took part in every major battle on the Western front together with a framed and glazed French print commemorating the 11th November 1918 Armistice.
