An entry in the sole surviving Pinxton Factory Book, dated 18th April 1797, records George Mellors` wages for decorating "...74 1/2 dozen teas [pattern] No 14 at 3 1/4 doz... 1.0s.2 1/2d." ++In fine condition, no restoration

Pink basket - on the interior three separate (approx 2cm long) straight hairline cracks in different places which are not too noticeable, typical light to moderate chipping of the flower petals, lacking one of the small buds and leaves from one side of the handle
