Royal Flying Corps Style Flying Helmet, soft light brown leather flying helmet with fitted brown leather neck flap and buckled chinstrap. Blanket lining to the interior of the helmet. Press stud fittings to the helmet. Accompanied by a well worn WW1 period flying helmet in dark brown leather with fur lining. (2 items)

Early 1920’s Period Leather Flying Helmet Retailed by Austin Reed, interesting short light brown leather pattern flying helmet with forehead strap and buckle fitting. Flap covering the ear phone / gosport tubes. Blanket lining to the interior with tailors label. Shows some service wear but generally a good example.
WW1 5th (Doncaster) Detachment Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Presentation Clock, fine small oak cased mantle clock with brass plaque to the lower section, “PRESENTED TO SERGT J W RILEY BY THE MEMBERS OF THE SERGEANTS MESS DONCASTER DETACHMENT 5TH K.O.Y.L.I ON THE OCCASION OF HIS MARRIAGE JUNE 1ST 1914”. John William Riley was born on 15th April 1881. He Joined up on 31/3/08, a 32 year old Brass Caster living at 55 Abbot St. Doncaster. Service number 317. Married Frances Elizabeth Louisa Fox on 1st June 1914 in Doncaster Church. Served in France 13/4/15 to 27/3/16, Wounded 10/7/15, Discharged as time expired 7/4/16 aged 39 with SWB number 93621. Re-joined TA 9/4/20 with number 4680314. His medal entitlement - 14/15 trio, TFEM and Silver War Badge.

A retro vintage mid 20th Century Italian Designer upright standard lamp light of brass construction. The lamp having a series of protruding brass arms with with green coloured glass shades in the form of flower heads with frosted floral decoration to each panel and smaller flowers underneath. Cylindrical brass column raised on a circular base. Measures approx 166cm.
