ASPREY & GARRARD; a good and impressive pair of Elizabeth II hallmarked silver gilt enamel neo-classical style torchère candlesticks with detachable flame sconces on silver gilt ribbon form bases, London 1998, height 24cm.Additional InformationOne leans at an angle, one base is misshapen, further light scratches, nicks, tarnishing, slight imperfections in the castings, some rubbing to gilt as well as tarnish and discolouration, nicks to silver, some knocks and misshaping in places, further general wear throughout, the ribbon bases bear the full set of hallmarks including the makers/sponsors mark, the bodies bear the sterling lion and London assay marks, the detachable sconces appear unmarked, we will not be weighing the bodies of these candlesticks as we are of the opinion that they are loaded, we will not be weighing the sconces as we cannot see a silver or sponsors marks on them, the two bases weigh approx 12ozt/375g.
