THE JYGSAW - RECORD THEIR OWN - The never seen before LP from The Jygsaw, whose members comprised of a footballer, a referee, a racing driver, a golfer and a 'Guinness expert'! Whilst not on their day jobs, they formed The Jygsaw and were the resident Group at The Belle-Vue Hotel, Port Erin, Isle Of Man. Pressed in tiny number (99 copies or less) by local label Cam Records (CAM 318). The record is in VG condition with some light surface and scuff markings; these are never of a heavier nature and there are no scratches. Well presented labels, there is a name in pen on side 1. The sleeve is fully signed by the band on the reverse! Condition of the sleeve is VG+ with some light laminate wear to the front and a little discoloration on the reverse. Stylistically, this is unlike anything you've ever heard! The standout track for us is 'Double 0 Double 9' with a monster ostinato riff a real focal point at the start and end of the track - file next to Focus - Hocus Pocus and possibly even Link Wray! The beauty of the track is the 'break' half way through - a delightful breakdown into a simple, yet rather beautiful section led my 'open' major 7th chords - it's totally mesmerizing! Totally unmissable.
STONES 65-67 82 SIGNED. A copy of Gered Mankowitz' 'The Stones 65-67 82', signed to first page by Gered Mankowitz. Limited copy number 190 of 1000. Condition is fine with light wear to box. Lot also to include Nigel Trevena - Lou Reed & The Velvets (1973), Rolling Stone 20th Anniversary and Pete Frame's Rock Family Trees, with condition for all is fair.
THE CHURLS - S/T US TEST PRESSING (SP 4169). The monstrous 1968 LP from the Canadian screamers, seen here is the original US test pressing (A&M SP 4169). The record is in well presented Ex condition with just a couple of rather light and minor surface markings. Housed, as was common with this release, with a generic white sleeve.

The subject of this painting with meticulous brushwork is the THREE CHIVALRIES. The artist Ye Mansu was a well-known painter of the late Qing-Dynasty and Republican period. The painting was completed in Shanghai in 1939. It was slightly harmed in the Cultural Revolution (please look at the stain caused by a footprint on the upper-left edge and the purple ball-pen scribbling left to the lady in the photos), and was remounted on paper backing later. Fortunately, it escaped being damaged. The theme is from the story about the three Dust Chivalries in the Wind at the end of the Sui Dynasty. The young man was Li Jing, who aided in forming the Tang Dynasty. The young lady was Red Duster, who fell in love with Li Jing and eloped with him. The Bearded Warrior helped their elopement.Artist: Ye MansuDimensions: 31 in. x 17 in. (Huaxin.), 76.5 in. x 27 in. (Scroll)Condition:Good condition, light surface soiling along the upper left.
