Great opportunity for the discerning Beatles collector with this well presented 1st UK mono black and gold pressing of Please Please Me housed with the original stereo sleeve. The record (PMC 1202, with with Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 6, 7, B4 and 6) is in solid VG condition showing some light surface marks though nothing at all heavier with no feelable scratches. Lesser seen distinctive '2 pressing ring' labels with embossed ZT tax code to side 1. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 H & XEX 422-1N 1 H. The original right aligned Angus Mcbean credit sleeve is in G+ condition. The front in clean order, the reverse bottom flipback tab has unfortunately been torn away. The spine is in clean and sharp order.

No rips, tears or seam splits and with the spine in clean, fully legible order.

Matrix (machine stamped): ILPS 9105 A//2 & B//2. The original first printing sleeve ('Printed & Made By Ernest J. Day', 'Day Is Done' then 'Way To Blue' track listing) is in VG condition showing some light signs of water damage (some staining) giving a minor 'wavy' nature to it though there are norips, tears or seam splits. With some minor scuffing to the reverse.

The record (Island ILPS 9134, original 'pink rim' label design) is in fantastic Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely fine, faint and wispy surface paper hairline marks - a top copy. Matrix (machine stamped): ILPS 9134 A-1U & ILPS 9134 B-1U. Complete with original blue Island inner. The original textured sleeve is in VG condition showing some signs of water damage with a somewhat 'wavy' nature to it, there are no rips, tears or seam splits and aside from the 'waviness' the sleeve is in clean shape. Showing some light edgewear, the spine is still legible.

Blue/ black labels are bright and clean with some minor spindle wear around the centre holes. A (scratched out) 3W/ B-3W matrix. The record is in glossy VG condition, displays numerous of hairline/ light surface marks, including a couple of light but feelable hairline marks. The laminated gatefold sleeve is in fine VG+ condition, with minor edge storage wear and a couple of minor creases to the cover laminate. A nice copy).

This copy features the controversial and quickly withdrawn 'dress' sleeve and contains the misspelling of Tony Visconti on the labels showing 'Tonny' on both sides. The record is in smart Ex condition showing a few light and minor paper scuff marks, these never at all heavier feelable scratches. With a fantastic glossy lustre to the playing surfaces. Matrix/runout: 6338041 1Y//1 ∇ 420 1 1 4 & 2Y//1 ∇ 420 1 1 1. With original British Patent inner '11 0371'. The iconic original textured 'dress' sleeve is in great Ex condition. A lovely clean example, there is a little edgewear and a small staining 'spot' to the bottom reverse right section. A well kept original UK Vertigo swirl pressing of Solar Plexus, the magnificent jazz-rock/ fusion album by British Jazz legends Ian Carr with Nucleus. The record (large swirl, 6360 039) is in clean Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor surface hairline marks. 1Y//1 & 2Y//1 matrix endings. Complete with original British Patent swirl inner. The original gatefold sleeve is in VG condition with some general ring/edgewear noted, though no rips, tears or seam splits and with the spine fully legible.

THE DICK MORRISSEY QUARTET - SOTRM WARNING! LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY - MERCURY 20077 MCL). Top British Jazz rarity from The Dick Morrissey Quartet (featuring Harry South, Phil Bates and Phil Seamen) with this original UK 1966 copy. The record (Mercury 20077 MCL) is in extremely fine and glossy Ex condition showing only a couple of very light, faint and minor surface hairline marks to the lustrous playing surfaces. Some spindle marks. The sleeve is in solid VG condition - the front in sharp order with only very minor wear to the laminate, the reverse shows minor signs of possible water damage - without any rips or tears, there is a slightly 'wavy' nature to the pasted reverse. As stated without any rips, tears or seam splits and with the spine super sharp, clean and naturally fully legible.
