A samurai armour dating: early 19th Centuryprovenance: JapanZunari kabuto with three-plate iron hachi, covered with smooth, dark lacquer (small parts missing); with circular, metallic maedate; four-plate iron shikoro with reddish lacquer and blue strings. Black lacquered, iron menpo (later) with detachable nose, horsehair mustache and gilt teeth, without yodarekake. Dark lacquered do with light blue strings. Complete with kote, haidate and suneate.
