A small patch of paint loss in the righthand background. Seven repair patches verso. Light craquelure throughout. Stretcher marks visible. Seen under UV, evidence of overpainting throughout. A little cockling to the canvas in the areas close to corners. A light dent upper left visible from certain angles. Some surface dust and a little dirt.

Manner of Sir Joshua ReynoldsPortrait of a gentleman, half length, wearing a brown coat and red hatoil on canvas47 x 42cmCondition report: The canvas has been lined. The surface is covered with a thick and modern varnish, some craquelure apparant. The thick varnish makes any reading under UV light difficult, however there are some touches of overpaint showing mainly to the hat, with several small bits of infilling to the cheek and jaw, apparant to the eye. Well presented and ready to hang in a reproduction empire style frame.

4 1960's Corgi Toys diecast saloon cars, in good play worn condition. Comprising: #275 Rover 2000 TC (1968-71) in green with tan interior, golden jacks take off wheels and complete with spare wheel (plus 1 extra wheel), #234 Ford Consul Classic (1961-65) in beige and pink with lemon interior and opening bonnet - windscreen cracked, #230 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Coupe (1961-63) in cream with red interior and opening boot (spare tyre and 1 rear tyre missing) and #245 Buick Riviera (1964-68) in light blue with red interior and transo lite headlights.
3 boxed 1950's Charben "Old Timers" series boxed vehicles, in excellent condition. No 6 De Dion Bouton in purple with painted black tin plate mud guards and yellow metal wheels. No 7 Panhard in light brown with steering wheel, chrome plated tin plate mudguards and painted yellow metal wheels, shows signs of metal fatigue. And No 9 1903 Standard in maroon with steering wheel and yellow painted metal wheels.
A Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Champagne dinner service, made for Perrier Jouet Champagne, each piece features the Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Japanese anemones designed by Emile Galle in 1902, to include lidded tureen, 28cm high, various sized dinner plates, side plates, cups, saucers, lidded sugar bowls, milk jug, lidded jug, two sized cups, etc., printed marks beneath. (a quantity) No UV or other aides used. It is a comprehensive and large collection and view personally before bidding .... Upon initial inspection general marks, wear, knife marks, use, discolouration, scratches and light wear, generally good overall.
A 20thC hardwood four poster bed, composed with four turned posts set with acanthus leaf and flower head mouldings, a headboard with scroll and floral pediment and a 150cm wide memory foam mattress, with supports and base, 212cm high. Upon initial inspection, the broken post has been glued at one point and has been snapped, and would require some attention, it is not a clean break, the remaining pieces form the top of the bed, when in situ at the house, the bed was complete and there is no reason to say that cannot be the case now, there is light marks and use, it is a good example of a reproduction four poster bed.
19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY TWIN PEDESTAL EXTENDING DINING TABLE with two additional leaves, standing on two tripod bases with brass paws and casters. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Support rails and 6 clips are present. The top has some wear and light scratches with use. One leg appears to have been chewed another leg appears to have been split and repaired.
