Wicked, complete and absolutely fantastic condition original mono copy of the famous '69 LP from The Stones which contains the original poster in great Ex condition and the 'complete catalogue' booklet (VG with some minor foxing and light creasing). The record (LK 5025, unboxed red Decca labels, P-2A/P-1A matrix endings) is in superb Ex+ condition showing just a couple of extremely minor and faint paper hairline marks. With original red mono inner. The original stickered sleeve is in fine Ex+ condition, displaying only minor laminate lifting along the front spine edge, no splits or cracks. A stunning example.

The records are in superb Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely minor, faint and wispy paper marks to the incredibly clean playing surfaces.. Labels are all bright and clean with only minor spindle wear around centre holes. The original fully laminated gatefold sleeve (with large Jimi image on the inside right, 'white text' copy) is in very sharp Ex condition with a light 'wavy' nature to the front (not water damage) - elsewhere displaying little wear.

Complete with original blue stereo inner in clean order. The front laminated sleeve is in neat VG+ condition, displays a couple of light/ minor edge creases and the back cover has some minor age-related handling/ storage wear).
SLADE - SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME 7" (ORIGINAL UK PROMO - FONTANA TF 1079). Scarce original UK 7" demo of this early cut from Slade with Shape Of Things To Come c/w C'Mon C'Mon. The record (original promo, with serrated rim, Fontana TF 1079) is in VG+ condition with a few light and minor surface marks and one just feelable scratch on the A side - this plays without any problems whatsoever.

This copy has come directly from the BBC archive centre. The record is in clean Ex condition showing a few light and minor surface hairline marks, these never at all heavier in nature. The sleeve is in VG+ condition with a library strip to the front, 2 BBC stamps to the reverse and 2 small punch holes noted, elsewhere in sharp order without any rips, tears or seam splits and with the spine clean and fully legible.

Huge underground Folk-Prog rarity from Alco alongside the Itchen College Barbershoppers with their beautiful only 1972 album. The record (self-released on their own label, ALC 530) is in very clean Ex condition showing only a couple of very fine and light paper hairline marks to the lustrous and glossy playing surfaces. The sleeve is in very clean excellent condition showing only some very minor laminate wear and without any rips, tears or seam splits.
NICK DRAKE - BRYTER LAYTER LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY - ISLAND ILPS 9134). A neatly presented original UK pressing of the beautiful second LP from Nick Drake. The record (Island ILPS 9134, original 'pink rim' label design) is in fantastic Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely fine, faint and wispy surface paper hairline marks - a top copy. Matrix (machine stamped): ILPS 9134 A-1U & ILPS 9134 B-1U. The original textured sleeve is in strong VG+, showing some light storage wear to the edges and covers plus light creasing to the top right corner.
GENESIS - THE KNIFE 7" (ORIGINAL UK PICTURE SLEEVE COPY - CHARISMA CB 152). Great to see complete original UK 7" picture sleeve copy of The Knife from Genesis. The record (Charisma scroll label, solid centre, CB 152) is in VG condition with a number of surface marks/scuffs with a couple of light feelable scratches. The fragile picture sleeve is in G+ condition with a number of creases, a seam split across roughly 1/3 on the bottom edge and with the reverse top flipback tab lifting.
DAVID BOWIE - HUNKY DORY LP (ORIGINAL UK FRONT LAMINATED PRESSING - RCA VICTOR SF 8244 - NO GEM SLEEVE). Great to see an original UK 'front laminated' copy of the classic 1971 LP from David Bowie. The sleeve (very first printing with front laminate and no 'Gem' logo to the reverse) is in VG condition showing some wear/creasing around the edges though no rips, tears or seam splits. 'Trevor Thomas' is written in black pen on the upper right corner of the reverse. The record (original 3T/3T matrix endings) is in VG condition with light surface marks and a few small, faint feelable marks.

A fantastic original UK 1st LP copy of Black Sabbath's 1970 self-titled debut album (VO6/ 847 903 VTY, 1970 UK pressing on Vertigo. Large swirl labels with Philips credit at the bottom are lovely, bright and clean. Comes with the original swirl inner sleeve. 1Y*1 420 12 1/ 2Y*1 420 12 2 matrix. The record is in glossy, strong VG+ condition, each side displays some hairline/ light paper marks. Nothing feelable. The original gatefold sleeve with credits in uppercase is in beautiful Ex condition, displaying only minimal age-related edge storage wear. A stunning copy).
ALCO - LINDA C/W BABY (NOW THAT I'VE FOUND YOU) 7" - EMIDISC ACETATE RECORDING. Fantastic to uncover unreleased 7" Emidisc Acetate from Alco (see previous lot). A double sided recording with Linda c/w (a cover of) Baby (Now That I've Found You) with printed Emidisc labels. The acetate is in glossy VG+ condition showing some light surface marks though no heavier scratches and without any deterioration to the lacquer.
JIMI HENDRIX - THE CRY OF LOVE LP (US TEST PRESSING - REPRISE - MS 2034). A wonderful US pressed LP test pressing of the posthumous album The Cry Of Love by Jimi Hendrix (MS 2034, 1971 US test pressing on Reprise. White Columbia test pressing labels with some hand-written information are bright and clean. MS-2034-A 31184-1A STERLING RL/ B 31185-1A STERLING RL matrix. Record is glossy VG+ condition, each side displays a small number of light paper marks, nothing feelable. Comes in a generic white card sleeve with newspaper cutting stuck to the cover).
THE SMITHS - HAND IN GLOVE - ORIGINAL 'NEGATIVE' SLEEVE DESIGN (RT 131) A supremely rare example of the 'negative' sleeve print for The Smiths - Hand In Glove' (RT 131). As explained in an interesting letter of provenance by the vendor (included with the lot) - this printing error came on a later printing of the single, not on the original release. The vendor worked in the warehouse at Rough Trade during the early 1980s and was able to obtain a copy before most were destroyed. The sleeve is in sharp VG+ condition showing some minor creasing with a little ringwear and one very small tear along the opening edge, the reverse flipback tabs are in clean order. The record is in clean Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor surface hairline marks. Matrix/runout: RT 131 A-2U-1-1-3 Kiss My Shades & RT 131 B1 PORKY KISS MY SHADES TOO.
THE PINK FLOYD - SEE EMILY PLAY/ SCARECROW 7" (NIGERIAN COLUMBIA - 45-DB 8214). A rare Nigerian 7" pressing of The Pink Floyds legendary 1967 7" single See Emily Play/ Scarecrow (45-DB 8214, 1967 Nigerian pressing on Columbia. Black/ silver text 4-prong centre labels are bright and legible, some minor wear around the edge of the 4-prong centre. Each side of the record displays numerous surface marks, some light but feelable. Each side plays through with surface noise throughout, it doesn't overwhelm for the most part. Side A VG/ side B G+. Comes presented in a green Columbia company paper sleeve).
PINK FLOYD - POINT ME TO THE SKY/ CAREFUL WITH THAT AXE EUGENE 7" (IRISH PRESS - COLUMBIA - DB(I) 8511). A rare Irish pressing of Pink Floyds 7" single Point Me To The Sky/ Careful With That Axe Eugene (DB(I) 8511, 1968 Irish pressing on Columbia. 4-prong centre labels are bright and clean, all text is clean and legible. Some light spindle wear around the centre holes. Visually the record appears VG, each side is glossy but displays numerous light surface marks. It plays more VG+, no skips/ jumps/ sticks etc but does play with some minor surface noise. Comes with a green Columbia company paper sleeve).
RAW MATERIAL - TIME IS... LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY - RCA NEON NE 8 - FROM THE BBC ARCHIVE). Exceptionally hard to find original 1971 UK copy of the second and final album from Prog pioneers Raw Material. This copy has come directly from the BBC Archive Centre. The record (RCA Neon series, NE 8) is in superlative Ex+ condition showing only a couple of very light, faint and wispy paper marks to the beautifully clean playing surfaces. With superb sharp and clean labels. Housed with the original black inner. The gatefold sleeve is in VG condition. Appearing to have been laminated by the library, this has in essence protected the integrity of the sleeve which is in otherwise sharp and clean order. With 6 various BBC archive stickers, 4 of which are on top of the plastic with 2 underneath.
LINDA HOYLE - PIECES OF ME LP (UK VERTIGO SWIRL - 6360 060). A scarce copy of Pieces Of Me, the 1971 debut by jazz-rock singer Linda Hoyle's Vertigo (6360 060, 1971 UK pressing on Vertigo. Swirl labels are bright and clean with some light spindle wear around the centre holes. The original swirl inner sleeve is a little discoloured with age. The record is in wonderful Ex condition, each side displays a couple of wispy/ hairline paper surface marks. The gatefold sleeve is in bright VG+ condition, display some light edge storage wear and a tiny scuff/ tear to the top right corner of the cover).
DAVID BOWIE - PINUPS - UK TRIDENT STUDIOS ACETATE RECORDING LP. Fantastic piece of Bowie history with the original Trident Studios acetate recording of the classic 1973 LP. Issued on 2 x single-sided acetate LPs with Trident Studios printed labels and 'David Bowie 1' and 'David Bowie 2' handwritten on the corresponding record. Both records are presented in outstanding Ex+ condition. Visually there are just a couple of very fine, minor and wispy markings to the playing sides with the playback superb on both records. There is very little deterioration to the aluminium lacquer. Audio-wise we believe the recording to be very similar to that of the final studio version, however there is a difference on the opening track Rosalyn with a distinct 'Echo' heard on the intro. There are slight tempo/pitch changes that can be heard, the most notable of this on I Can't Explain. House with original Trident Studios orange sleeve which is in Ex condition showing a few light creases.
FUNGUS - PREMONITIONS LP (UK PROMO - MAXIMUM MUSIC - FUN 1). A scarce advance promo pressing of the never-officially-released LP Premonitions by prog-rock group Fungus (FUN 1, 1973 UK advanced promo pressing on Maximum Music. FUN+1+A/ B machine stamped matrix. Labels with printed text are bright and clean. The record is in glossy VG+ condition, each side displays a small number of light/ hairline paper marks. Comes in a generic white card sleeve).
NICK DRAKE - PINK MOON LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY - ISLAND ILPS 9184). A superb original UK copy of the third, and sadly final LP from folk troubadour Nick Drake. The record (Island ILPS 9184, original 'pink rim' pressing) is in stunning Ex+ condition, displays a couple of very faint wispy paper marks. Matrix (machine stamped): ILPS 9184 A-1U & B-1U. Housed with original blue Island inner. The original gatefold sleeve is in strong VG+ condition, displays only minor age-related edge storage wear and a light crease halfway up the spine edge of the cover.
FIVE DAY RAIN - S/T LP (UK WHITE LABEL - HEAVY PROG). A hyper rare LP pressing of the never released debut album by British heavy-prog rock group Five Day Rain. Recorded in 1970 but never officially released at the time, it took another 20 years before copies started to resurface (Plain white labels with hand-written side information. The record (Pye black/blue label design original, NPL 18317) is in superlative Ex+ or archive condition showing only a couple of extremely faint, slight and wispy paper marks under intense LED lighting. Complete with die-cut original lyric insert in lovely Ex condition without any damage to the tab. The fragile original reverse opening gatefold sleeve is in sharp Ex condition showing some light bubbling to the laminate on the front and with one very small paper tear to the reverse top section.

The 'single opening' gatefold sleeve is in great Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and small scuffs and a couple of again, very light and minor creases around the edges. A gem of mid-60s garage rock by Canadian group The Haunted, this is a scarce original Canadian LP pressing of their self-titled debut and only album (TW-6701, 1967 Canadian pressing on Trans-World Record Co Inc. Yellow labels with deep groove are bright and legible. The record itself is glossy, strong VG+ condition, with each side displaying a very small number of hairline/ light paper marks. The thick card sleeve has bright, glossy covers and displays some light ring wear and age-related handling/ storage wear including some edge splits, VG condition).

Brill to see complete original UK mono pressing of The Who's 1967 studio LP The Who Sell Out which naturally includes the scarce 6-panel, large fold-out poster, (which was only included with the first 500 copies. The original poster is in neat VG+ condition showing some tape residue on the corners and one small paper tear though has clearly been stored well. The record (612 002, 1967 UK pressing on Track. A 2-12 1/ B 1 1 matrix) is in neat VG+ condition with some light and minor surface hairline marks though no heavier feelable scratches. The laminated sleeve (no hype sticker) is in brill Ex+ condition showing only a little laminate wear.

Mega copy of this super early Bowie 7" promo rarity with Can't Help Thinking About Me c/w And I Say To Myself. The record (1966 UK promo copy with solid centre labels, 7N 17020) is in lovely VG+ condition, each side is bright and glossy and displays a small number of hairline/ light paper marks. White/ black text labels are legible with some minor age-related handling/ storage wear. Slight fading to some of the lettering. Matrix: 7N 17020 A1 Δ H & 7N 17020 B1 Δ H. Housed with clean original company sleeve. A great copy.

Side 1 of the record (PCS 7096 2U/2U matrix) is in clean Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor surface hairline marks. Side 2 of the record is in glossy VG+ condition with some light surface hairline marks. The sleeve (original red apple) is in extremely sharp Ex condition showing a little laminate creasing. The original holding tray is in well presented VG+ condition showing a couple of very small paper tears though is in fully intact order. The outer tray is in very clean Ex condition with just a couple of very light and minor creases. The Get Back book has a few loose pages. The outer slipcase sleeve is in superlative Ex+ condition showing some slight wear to the corners and is genuinely rarely seen in such condition.
ORA - ORA LP (UK ACID-FOLK - TANGERINE RECORDS - DP.LP.002S). A scarce, original UK pressing of the self-titled debut and only LP by short-lived London-based acid-folk group Ora, fronted by Jamie Rubinstein (pre-Byzantium). The record (DP.LP.002S, 1969 UK pressing on Tangerine Records. Textured labels are bright and legible with some minor foxing spotting. Side 1 is in stunning Ex condition, displays a couple of wispy/ hairline paper marks. Side 2 is strong VG+, displaying a few more marks than side 1, but nothing feelable. The laminated sleeve is in strong VG condition, covers are bright and glossy but it does suffer a little from some water staining along the opening edge, some light edge storage ear/ corner creasing. The laminate on the back cover has lifted a little along the spine edge but hasn't cracked or split).

A stunning, scarce UK original LP pressing of Mighty Baby's 2nd studio album A Jug Of Love with lesser seen lyric insert (2931 001, 1971 UK stereo pressing on Blue Horizon. Includes a lyric insert, Ex conditon. The labels are lovely, bright and clean. The record in superb glossy Ex+ condition, displays a couple of wispy paper marks/ the sleeve has some light edge shelf wear and ring wear to both sides of the cover, strong VG+).

The record is in super clean Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor surface hairline paper marks, these never at all heavier in nature. With sharp and clean labels. Side 1 is lovely Ex, displays a couple of hairline/ wispy paper marks. Side 2 is in glorious Ex+ condition. The laminated sleeve is in bright, clean Ex condition. Light age-related edge storage wear and the spine edge has some minor laminate lifting but no splits or cracks. A wonderful copy).

Side 2 of the record is in VG condition with some surface marks though no heavier feelable scratches. Generic white inner. The sleeve is in sharp VG+ condition with the front in lovey order, the reverse showing 2 BBC library stickers and also stamped twice.

This copy has come directly from the BBC archive centre. The record is in glossy Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor paper hairline marks which are never at all heavier in nature. Complete with original black inner. The sleeve is in VG condition - appearing to have been laminated by the library, this has in essence protected the integrity of the sleeve which is in sharp and clean order. With 6 various BBC archive stickers, 4 of which are on top of the plastic, 2 which are underneath.

DEREK BAILEY PLUS ONE MUSIC ENSEMBLE - S/T LP (ORIGINAL UK RELEASE - NONDO RECORDS DPLP 002 - FROM THE BBC ARCHIVE). Extraordinarily scarce original 1977 LP featuring the hugely influential British Jazz musician Derek Bailey with the Plus One Music Ensemble. This is believed to be one of only 99 copies produced and one of very few that have ever been offered for sale. This copy has come directly from the BBC archive centre. Side 1 of the record is in very clean Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor paper hairline marks. Side 2 is in VG+ condition showing some light poly bag residue though few marks. With BBC Library stamp to side 1 label. The fragile original picture sleeve is in G+ condition showing a section partly torn to the reverse where some tape repair is noted. With 5 various stickers from the BBC archive library.
