Wooden scabbard with leather covering, sewn with brass wire binding, silver mounts engraved with birds, garlands and geometrical motifs; two suspension rings. Made for the son of an important man., length 58 cm.

An elegant sabre, dating: late 18th Century, provenance: Greece, dating: late 18th Century, provenance: Greece, Curved, single-and false-edged blade, in damask, with a double fuller at the base, then with three, thin grooves and a single, large fuller beside the edge; tip of a lenticular section, rinceau engravings on a wavy lines background and traces of gilding at forte, decoration at the back base. Iron cross-quillon, ribbed in the centerline, with thin langets and straight quillons, cusped at the edges; an engraved flower at the center, border with a small frame. Gilding traces. Central band of the grip in silver, so as the cap (a small restoration at the base). Light horn grip scales (small damages and parts missing). Wooden scabbard covered with black leather, decorated with spirals in relief in the front part, a metallic wire seam on the back. Silver cap with frames with wavy lines; two bands with a lug. Long, silver chape with leaves decoration at the edge., length 97 cm.

Light-brown, silk tsuka; wooden saya lacquered in black (parts missing); kozuka with a used blade and grip in shakudo decorated with lying figures and plants with the remains of gilding., length 50.5 cm.

The 2nd image in the R/F had very minor spots that could not be removed. The inner lens elements of the Leitz Summicron lens was cleaned, some fogging noted. The inner lens and 'bugeyes' of the Leica Elmarit lens was corrected and lens cleaned.
