French School (second quarter 20th century), Street scenes with figures, Istanbul, Turkey, a pair, watercolour, signed and inscribed indistinctly to lower margin, one inscribed 'Istanbul Mai 1929' verso, later frames, 17 x 11in. (43.2 x 28cm.). (2) * Condition: Neither examined out of the frame. One in good condition, with single fox mark top left. The other slightly faded, with toning to sheet, a few fox marks and several light spots to the sheet around the top margin and one large patch lower in the sky, from earlier restoration.
Louis Van Staaten (Dutch, 1836-1909), Dutch harbour scenes, a pair, watercolour, both signed, modern painted frames, 15½ x 23¼in. (39.5 x 59cm.). (2) * Condition: Light toning to sheets and a little light foxing to both. Both have old mount contact lines at the margins of the sheets from old framing. Colours remain strong.

(2) * Condition: Light toning to sheets and acidic mounts. A little light foxing. One has a small brown pencil line to the sky near the left margin.
John Randall Bratby RA (British, 1928-1992), “Boats and Belt of Broken Sunshine”, oil on canvas, signed and dated “Bratby ‘63” on the stretcher and titled on the selvedge of the canvas, original frame, 16 x 20in. (40.6 x 50.8cm.).* Labels for the Zwemmer Gallery, 26 Litchfield Street, Charing Cross Road, London indicating the purchaser as “Ball”. Also a label on the back of the canvas providing framing instructions specifically for pictures by John Bratby. * Condition: Unlined. Light surface dirt.

(36.8 x 53.3cm.).* Label on reverse for G.M Lotinga Ltd, Fine Art Galleries, 9a New Bond Street, London dated July 1962 giving title, artist and date. * Condition: Canvas lined. Light surface dirt, otherwise in good condition.
H. Cronin Lowe (British, first half 20th century), Stone bridge in a lowland landscape, watercolour on tinted paper, signed and dated 1937 lower right, modern gilt frame, 10 x 13 7/8in. (25.4 x 35.25cm.). * Condition: Tinted paper has probably toned and darkened over time. Small light spot to centre of sky (probably old restoration to fox mark).

(23.8 x 33cm.); together with another watercolour of farm buildings by the same hand, unsigned, 10 x 14¾in. (25.4 x 37.5cm.). (2) * Condition: - The red boat: A little light foxing. Small retouch to upper right corner. Acidic mount and dirt beneath glass.- Landscape: Sheet toned and a few fox marks. Dirt beneath glass. Acidic mount.
Mrs. K. Palmer (British, early 20th century), 'The Residency', Lucknow, India, watercolour, signed with initials lower right, titled to exhibition label verso, 13¾ x 9 3/8in. (35 x 23.8cm.); together with another watercolour of the Taj Mahal, by the same hand, 9 x 12½in. (22.8 x 31.75cm.). (2) * Condition: Both in good condition overall, with slight fading. The Taj Mahal w/c with light mount burn visible (from an earlier mounting - it is now acid-free).

D. Haslett Esq. Souda', old Christies stencil above, 5½ x 7½in. (14 x 19cm.). * Condition: Acidic mount, light mount burn visible. Toning to sheet, a little light foxing and colours lightly faded. .
A good pair of large French gilt metal and glass ceiling lanterns, second half 20th century in the Regency style, the blown glass body with gilt cone finial, suspended from a gilt metal circlet decorated with masks, foliage and beaded swags connected by chains to a smoke shade, with four light fitment, 40in. (101.7cm.) high, 16¾in. (42.5cm.) diameter. (2) * Condition: Two light arms loose on mount - nuts to tighten inside the mount. No other faults - complete and no other faults.
A George III oval crossbanded mahogany occasional table with lidded top, the oval top opening to storage over a plain strung frieze, raised on slender tapering square legs with brass castors, 26 x 17¾in. (66 x 45cm.), 29½in. (74.9cm.) high. * Condition: Losses to crossbanding on top, also light surface scratches, two legs have been repaired where they join the carcass.
