A 19th century brass mounted blue glazed pottery oil lamp, with an etched glass shade, 51cm high overallOverall dirty and, with wear to the decoration. The rim has a crack running down half the pierced border, which is difficult to see, due to the brass liner and border. Weighted iron base is rusted. Font is glass and looks intact. Shade is dirty with light wear. Has a 4cm wide repaired chip to the rim, which is almost hidden by the burner fitting.

An Arts and Crafts green vaseline glass light shade, 3cm aperture, together with three others smaller (4)Smaller frilled shade has a rough aperture. Some light surface wear. 7cm aperture and 15cm high. Plain cylinder shade 10cm wide and 14cm high. Rough edges on each side. Flat frilled shade has some light surface marks and a rough hole and measures 24 x 10cm overall. Wrythen cylinder shade appears intact and measures 16 x 9cm.
A Victorian silver mug, embossed with foliage, Birmingham 1859, 127g, 12cm high, together with an Edwardian silver pedestal bowl, with Art Nouveau decoration, Birmingham 1905, 136g, 11cm high (2)Bowl is made in two parts and is loose where the stem meets the bowl. Both are dirty and have various light marks but are otherwise complete. Hallmarks are clear to read. Mug engraved William Farrant Lambert 1859.
A Victorian mahogany pedestal desk, with a green inset writing surface and containing nine short drawers133w x 69d x 76h cmOverall the condition is solid and usable. Drawers all run well. The leather has some light marks and scruffs but no holes or damage. The desk appears to have been restored recently so is very clean and polished overall. One piece of veneer is missing along the back corner and has been polished over. No keys, but locks are in place.

An 18th century French oak armoire, of large proportions, enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, above a shaped apron170w x 63d x 215h cmOverall condition is complete and solid. It appears clean, with only light signs of use/age. Opens ok. Has a key and locks. Cornice will come off, but it will not come apart without being dismantled. Some of the timbers have warped with age. It looks to have been restored in recent years.

An Edwardian silver bowl, of pedestal form, with stylised handles, London 1910, 305g, 20cm diameterOverall condition is complete. Tarnished with light surface marks. The foot is slightly flat to one side, where it has been dropped, but this is not easy to see, unless viewed from the underside. Hallmarks are slightly worn on the raised areas, but still easy to read.
An ornate 19th century silver plated three branch ceiling light, with glass shades, 54cm highOne shade is chipped, so missing point to the edge of the rim. They are also rough around the aperture. The branches are suspended from the wiring which is old and needs replacing, causing one branch to come away, where the electric wire has broken. Very dirty and tarnished. Two decorative scrolls are missing from the side of the arms.

Albert E. Wright served with the 12th (service) Battalion (Bristol) The Gloucestershire Regiment. on the 28th August 1916 he is listed as suffering with shell shock and entitled to a wound stripe. Pioneer Thomas Miller suffered an inguinal hernia (right) in May 1917 when serving with the 330th Road Construction Company. He served from the 1st February 1917 until 4th December 1917 at the Road Troops Depot. He was awarded silver war badge number 295329, he was 25 years old at the time of his discharge. *CR Normal light surface marks.

George Frederick Burch served with the 11th Battery of the Durham Light Infantry attached to 185 Co. R.E. and 256 Tunneling Co. He was wounded on the 30th July 1918 and entitled to a wound stripe. *CR Mounted for display, lightly cleaned.

John Sedman Elder served with the 8th (Service) Battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment, born in 1898 he lived at Oyston's PLace Flowergate, Whitby, enlisting on the 16th September 1916 he traveled to the France on the 12th January 1917 and Italy on the 8th November 1917. *CR Normal light surface marks.
FIRST WORLD WAR MEDALS TO BROTHERS FROM MARYPORT, CUMBERLAND. A War Medal named to 32556 Pte J. Stoddart Bord. R. and a Victory Medal named to 16621 Pte W. Stoddart Bord R. William and John were sons of Joseph and Isabella Stoddart and native of Maryport Cumberland. William served with the 2nd Battalion of the Border Regiment he died on the 1st of June 1915 and is buried at Boulogne Eastern cemetery, his headstone reads 'He answered the call and gave all', he was 36 years old. John served with the 43rd Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers and died on the 1st December 1918, he is buried at Janval Cemetery, Dieppe, his headstone has the same inscription, he was also 36 years old. *CR Normal light surface marks.
A FIRST WORLD WAR TRIO TO THE LANCASHIRE FUSIIERS. A Great War Trio comprising 1914-15 Star named to 3421 Pte J. Whalley Lan Fus War Medal and Victory Medals similarly named. John Whalley served with the 9th (Service) Battalion of the Lancashire Fusiliers. He enlisted on the 19th September 1914 and entered the Balkans on the 11th July 1915, he suffered a shrapnel wound to the right thigh on the 21st August 1915, at this time he was serving in Gallipoli and was 19 years old. He was discharged on the 5th October 1917 being issued Silver War Badge 262366. *CR Light surface marks.
A 1914-1915 STAR TO THE LIVERPOOL REGIMENT. A 1914-15 Star named to 3905 Pte F. Barrow L'Pool R. Frank George Barrow was the son of Margaret and the late Frank James Barrow of 50 Invernia Road, Liverpool. He served with 'C' Coy 5th Battalion The King's (Liverpool Regiment) entering France on the 12th October 1915, he died on the 23rd February 1916 and is buried at Le Fermont Military Cemetery, Riviere, South West of Arras, this is a small cemetery with only 80 graves. His headstone reads 'Fondly Remembered by his Sisters Alice, Isabel, Marion and Eveline', he was 20 years old. *CR Light surface marks.

David William Thomas served with the 10th (Service) Battalion (1st Rhonda) and 15th (Service) Battalion (Carmarthenshire) Battalion of the Welsh Regiment. He is recorded as receiving a gun shot wound to his shoulder on the 10th July 1916 he was further wounded on the 25th June 1918 and on the 31st August 1918 and possibly again on the 14th October 1918. Being entitled to wound stripes for each injury. *CR Normal light surface marks.

Private later Lance Corporal and then Serjeant Carson/Curson from Norwich served from c1911 and fought with D Company, he was listed as wounded on the 22nd November 1916 and again with a slight gunshot wound to his left thigh on the 22nd October 1916 when he was treated on a hospital ship. *CR Normal light surface marks.

Charles Green served with the 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. A Great War Trio comprising a 1914-15 Star named to 13395 Pte W.A. Green Oxf & Bucks L.I. War Medal and Victory Medal similarly named. William Henry Green served with the 7th (Service) Battalion of the Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry, he is recorded as suffering with dysentery in September 1916, at which time he was with D company of the 7th and had been serving with the Field force for 12 months. A Second World War Group of five comprising 1939-45 and France and Germany Stars, Defence and War Medal, all unnamed as issued and a Cadet Forces medal named to Major R.C.E. Green A.C.F. mounted as worn. With an image of Charles Green in uniform, a collection of postcards, other photographs, Civil Defence leaflets and other documents. *CR Medals with normal light surface marks.
