English School (19th century): Fishing Smack and other Shipping off the Coast, oil on board unsigned 19cm x 34.5cmCondition Report:Generally good condition. Board bowed slightly, some minor paint loss around the edges, looks to have been heavily cleaned in the past. No signs of over-painting visible under UV light.

Some very light wear to the gilding in the centre. Small patch of restoration to the rim - gilding at this section slightly raised and on the exterior porcelain body slightly discoloured, measuring approximately 10mm wide x 3mm. Otherwise appears to be in good condition.We cannot prove it was decorated in Chamberlain's Workshop, but apparently the Chamberlain archives refer to a number of orders from Prince Frederick, Duke of York, and it is thought this set was probably made to celebrate his forthcoming betrothal to Princess Frederica of Prussia.

A gent's Dunhill steel cased manual wind wristwatch, having a signed grey Roman dial and screw-down back cover, case dia.32mmAdjusts, but does not appear to run fully.The dial is damaged between 4 and 5 and some markers are a little worn.The hands are scratched and tarnished.Glass is scratched, quite noticeably over the number 7.The case has light scratches and wear commensurate with age.Strap not original.
