Plates, some coloured, maps, some folding, folding panoramas. Scarce. CONDITION REPORT: Some minor wear to binding o/w vg. ADDED INFO: this is a generally very good set of a work that is increasingly difficult to obtain in the original 1st edition binding with light blue publisher's boards, light brown cloth spine and paper labels. The text blocks are generally clean and tight, very slight sporadic foxing. No inscriptions, all plates and maps present. No tears that i have discovered. The set have been in the possession of one family since publication and there is therefore no history of frequent handling
