SWAROVSKI; four glass animals, to include four fish on chrome stand, also two champagne flutes and two wine glasses (part af).Additional InformationWe are unable to post this lot as they are very fragile. We would recommend using Mailboxes Etc. All the items in the description are what is shown in the photograph. One of the tails of the three fish has come off. The loose fish is completely at fault, both fins are off, another piece has further damage and crude repairs including 'blu-tac' with more chips. More blu-tac pieces to the fish including to the end of the sculpture where the clear crystal has been applied with blu-tac to the chromed frame. The two parrots possibly have some small chips/nibbles to the ends of the tails as they have a very sharp finish. One of the wine glasses has a very small chip/nibble to the rim, otherwise light general wear and dirt. They do not have boxes or certificates.

CAMILLE BENOIT (French, 1820-1882); oil on panel, two French hounds in woodlands, signed and dated '75 lower left, 22.5 x 15cm, framed.Provenance: Edward Brown, the vendor's uncle, was a bugler in WWI, who did not come home, his personal possessions came back to his wife, this painting was amongst his bandolier sash. The painting is believed to have been given to him by a French soldier who he helped in the battle.Additional InformationSome light surface marks and vertical lines within the art work. Craquelure throughout. It does appear to have been cleaned fairly recently. Overall the condition is good.

A Russian birch cigarette case with applied silver decoration depicting a crown above foliate, ribbon and panel with white stone, bears marks for Fabergé and 88, length 11cm.Additional InformationGeneral wear to case exterior with scratches, scuffs and small nicks and gouges into the wood. Light tarnishing to the metal. Metal bearing similar wear bar to the lower section where there is heavier wear. Looks like it may have been filed and tested at some point to the right hand side. Some small chips and nibbles to the hinged lid, corners and edges where it has been open/closed and subsequent wear over the years.

An early Victorian hallmarked silver snuff box of rectangular form, with engine turned detail and foliate scroll decoration to the elongated thumb piece enclosing a gilt washed interior, London 1841, length 8cm, approx 88.5g.Additional InformationMarks to base interior are clear. Maker's mark to lid slight rubbed. The lion and date letter are clear. There are some scratches and minor indentations including to the cartouche to the exterior. Scratches to interior, light general wear. The lid hinge is ever so slightly spring as it comes back up leaving a very small gap between that and the body.

A mid-19th century Continental tortoiseshell and white metal mounted snuff box of rectangular form, with canted corners and foliate engraved decoration to the frame, indistinctly marked, width 7.5cm, approx 50.4g.Additional InformationCloses very tightly with a good action, has the remnants of the gilt washed interior to the metal mounts, the tortoiseshell is in good condition, light surface scratches, marks slightly obscured.

A George IV hallmarked silver pill box of rectangular form with gilt washed detail and foliate raised border, Thomas Parker, Birmingham 1828, width 3.25cm, approx 13.5g.Additional InformationWhilst the form of this box indicates it being a vinaigrette, we cannot see where a grille would ever have been, there are certainly no traces of a hinge. The lid closes but not firmly. Light surface scratches throughout. There is a sprung dent to the base.

Gilt wash has faded to the bowls and one of the bowls in particular is thinning to the point and is not rounded as original. Light surface scratches throughout.

LONGINES; a gentleman's 1950s 9ct yellow gold cased wrist watch, the silvered dial set with baton numerals, and subsidiary seconds dial, with later black leather strap.Additional InformationDoes not run when wound, Mechanism will need attention. There is a heavy scratch to the glass which casts a large shadow under light. There are also visible further scratches and marks to the dial. The case shows signs of wear throughout with scratches and small chips. Small gouges, etc. In general in a heavily worn state. The bracelet is also very tired. This will be an extra small box to a UK mainland address.
