Find binding - Waugh (Evelyn) Brideshead Revisited, The Sacred and Profane Memories of Captain Charles Ryder, 1st ed., pub. London, Chapman and Hall, 1945, recent full binding in burgundy morocco, gilt lined and spine gilt with raised bands, orig. spine bound in at end, 12mo.* Condition: Binding in near fine condition, with a few tiny scuff marks and light scratches. Replaced end papers. Some toning to half title. Occasional spotting elsewhere.
Adams (Richard) Watership Down, illustrated by John Lawrence, no. 238 from a limited edition of 250 specially bound copies, signed in red ink by the author, and with an original watercolour, signed with initials by the illustrator to the fly leaf, pub. Paradine 1976, with full crushed green morocco pictorial gilt by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, pictorial spine gilt with raised bands, a.e.g., with marbled board slipcase, 8vo.* Condition: Light edge rubbing, scuff to front below gilt pictorial. Spine slightly sunned. Line of very slight toning to fore edge of watercolour fly leaf. Otherwise near fine.
Louis Haghe after David Roberts RA, RBA (1796-1864) 'Grand Portico of the temple of Philae Nubia'; and 'Approach to the Fortress of Ibrim, Nubia', hand coloured lithographs from 'Egypt and Nubia', engraved by Louis Haghe (1806-85) published in London, 1838, 13 x 19in. (33 x 48.25cm.), gilt framed and matted. (2)* Condition: - Temple: Laid down. Some toning, with lines of slightly darker toning to margins from earlier framing. A little faded.- Approach: Laid down. Slight cockled and light toning. Small bleached spot to sky from old restoration and small, darker patch of toning to sand lower right.
A Chinese circular seal paste box puce decorated with landscape to cover, Xianfeng mark and period, 3¾in. (9.6cm.) diameter* Condition: Very good condition, with expected light wear to foot only and a few glaze scratches to the lid and base. No other faults - no chips, cracks, glaze flakes, hairlines or restoration.
A pair of Chinese famille rose miniature tea bowls 19th century, scalloped gilt rims, painted with crickets and flowers, 2 3/8in. (6cm.) diameter, seal mark beneath, together with a pair of similar larger bowls, decorated with flowers, 4¼in. (10.8cm.) diameter, a saucer, painted with crickets, frog on lily pad and flowers, underside with stylised bats to ribbed rim, and a further miniature tea bowl. (6)* Condition: The last tea bowl with hairline crack running from rim to base, the other pieces with very light rubbing to rims and expected wear to bases, overall good.
A Chinese miniature globular vase Yongzheng mark and possibly of the period, finely enamelled in puce on white ground, with two dragons chasing a flaming pearl, 2¾in. (7cm.) high, circular hardwood stand.* Condition: gilt rubbing to rim, light wear to foot, stand with rubbed surface, not original to piece.

Contents although all parts appear to be still bagged they are not checked for completeness or correctness and kits come in generally Good outer pictorial boxes although all 4 boxes do suffer from scuffing, scratching and light crushing along with some having old price stickers attached. All conditions of these bus models do generally appear to be Good to Good Plus although none have been checked for completeness or correctness in generally Good outer boxes (although some window boxes do appear to suffer from crushing and some have old price stickers attached). The obverse has a smaller amount of less visible toning in the same position.3. The 3 remaining proof character colourised coins are unblemished.
