Areas of light rubbing to gilt highlights.Flower encrusted cup and saucer - Losses to encrusted foliage throughout including leaf stems, leaf tips and petal tips.
A group of Worcester fluted tea wares comprising two tea bowls, two coffee cups and a saucer, a saucer dish and a plate, together with nine early 19th Century coffee cans CONDITION REPORT: Some rubbing to gilt areas. One tea bowl has small rim chip. Some areas of light crazing. One can has handle glued back on. Some pieces with slight staining.
A George III silver oval tea caddy, Richard Morton & Co, Sheffield 1775, engraved swags and with beaded border, the hinged cover with ring handle, 12cm wide, approximately 217.75gm/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: Lot 30:No key, later lock, this has been attached and the marks are visible around keyhole to front of caddy. Circular scratch mark around handle to top. Otherwise light wear and scratches in line with age and usage.
17th Century Roman School/Young Man Playing a Lute by Candlelight/oil on canvas, 71cm x 62cm/Provenance: The Arcade Gallery, London 1965; K R Bernard-Smith Collection, New South Wales, Australia/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: Relined. There are no obvious signs of restoration under UV light, but with naked eye would appear to be some restoration to the background on the left and the left side of the face. Otherwise it is in good condition. The stretcher appears to be 18th/19th century, ebonised and gilt frame 16th/17th century with restoration.
An Irish provincial hook end silver ladle, Joseph Johns, Limerick circa 1760, with fluted scalloped bowl, foliate engraved stem and crest, 35cm long, approximately 204gm/Note: Joseph Johns is described in A Celebration of Limerick Silver, John Bowen & Conor O'Brien as Limerick's "most accomplished, prolific and arguably most successful silversmith" . He eventually became Mayor of Limerick in 1773 as well as holding other official positions. The hook end and large shell bowl are typical of Limerick ladles at this time, a similar example by Johns is in A Celebration of Limerick Silver p. 128 (plate 121a, exhibit 5.27), another by George Moore was sold at Lawrence's 11/10/2016, Lot 96 and another by Samuel Johns sold at Fonsie Mealy, 08/03/16, Lot 39. The crest appears to be a Demi-Lion Rampant Regardant, Between The Paws A Boar's Head Couped which are the arms of the Barons Carbery (Evans-Freke), the title was created in 1715 and the family were based in County Limerick/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: 56:A good gauge of silver. General condition in line with age and usage, light wear and scratches including to marks.
Edwin May Fox (act. 1830-1870)/Horse and Foal in a Landscape/signed and dated lower right E M Fox 1840/oil on board, 19.5cm x 24.5cm CONDITION REPORT: Condition generally good, areas of overpainting visible under UV light. Signed and dated lower right E M Fox 1840. Framer has added some modern hardboard to the back.

One pickle fork is broken. General condition otherwise fair, light wear and scratches in line with age and usage. The napkin rings are unmarked.
