A William Moorcroft 'Late Florian' vasecirca 1915of twin-handled form, tubelined with flowers and leaves against a green ground, impressed factory marks and painted signature in green,13.5cm highCondition report: When viewed under bright light, it is noticeable that the entirety of the vase is covered in relatively fine crazing to the glaze. There is a small fleabite to the upper rim, with a loss of glaze in that area. Likewise, the handles both have a few small glaze imperfections, which are a combination of firing flaws and fleabites. A 19th Century Staffordshire pottery Toby jug as "Toby Philpott seated with jug of ale on his left knee, a pipe in his right hand, in pale pink jacket with black hat", 24.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Does not appear to have any signs of restoration under UV light. The eyes and mouth appear very pale or undecorated though there are signs that it may have had some decoration over the top of the glaze at some point which has now gone. There is damage to the glaze to the base front left and to the underside and crackelure particularly down the left hand side - not so obvious on the right though there is some. See images for further detail.

A collection of Belleek "Shamrock and basket" decorated tea wares including two teapots, three cream jugs, two sugar bowls, jam pot, large jug, muffin dish, two sandwich plates, six cups and saucers, three side plates, together with two shell decorated pink ground cups and saucers CONDITION REPORTS Most pieces have the black double back stamp. One sandwich plate/cake plate has one handle off and missing. The other sounds dull but no crack/fracture evident. Loss to the enamel decoration on various pieces throughout. One teapot has staining to the interior. Items with a single black back stamp comprise muffin dish, three side plates, one saucer, one teapot and a milk jug. Another black back stamp different to the others - one tea cup. One milk jug and sugar bowl have green double back stamp. Four pink items have various back stamps - see image. All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some light surface scratching, losses to the enamelled or gilded decoration and some knife marks etc - see images for more details

One Coalport cobalt square serving plate and six circular plates together with four various Royal Crown Derby gilt decorated coffee cans and saucers, together with a matching trinket dish, three Derby Chatsworth saucers, a Royal Crown Derby blue and gilt chinoiserie decorated part tea service comprising five tea plates, six saucers and five cups and matching twin handled sucrière and a further Royal Crown Derby blue and gilt ribbon decorated cup and saucer CONDITION REPORTS The Coalport plates only:- Square plate is dirty. Circular plates have general wear and tear to include some light surface scratching, knife marks and to the decoration with the exception of one which has a heavier mark with some red discolouration/staining which would probably wash off.The gilt decorated coffee cans and saucers - one can has severe discolouration to the interior - otherwise general wear and tear to include dirt, etc. Three Chatsworth saucers - all have chips, crazing, discolouration.The blue and white chinoiserie decorated set - all cups have hairline fractures, one saucer has a hairline fracture and one tea plate. Otherwise all have some signs of crazing, etc. Sucrier - nothing visible but sounds dull. All items have general wear and tear to include knife marks and wear to the gilding, etc. See images for examples.

Both are very dirty and in need of a clean, crazing throughout both as well as firing faults, knocks and bumps etc. The pair of spelter candlesticks are in need of a good clean, some splitting to the brasswork, needs re-wiring. There is a creaminess to the underside, especially around the footrim of one. It has been suggested that they coudl have been sprayed.The dishes have firing faults to the body wich have blackened over time. Light pitting to both.One has a 2.5inch crack to the underside. Rubbing to the enamel around the tree.The other one has two similar cracks to the underside with a susbsequent very tiny surface chip to the underside. One of the cracks is slightly visible from the front but is oscured by the factory fault.

Cooper/1850' (lower right)oil on panel 49 x 59.5cmCondition report: 61 x 71.5cm (framed)The painting is executed in oil on a wooden panel support with a label for Charles Roberson & Co on the reverse. The panel and paint layers are in a good condition overall. There are losses at the left hand corner and lower edge. There are a few age and stress cracks which have formed in the paint layers. Small areas of damage and abrasion have been retouched in the sky. The upper varnish layer is even and glossy. The painting is curiously signed by Cooper twice and Lee once. The Cooper signature to the right is dated 1850, under ultraviolet light the area around the date is surrounded by varnish which fluoresce green, although the date does not. The thick brown line under the date is also dark in UV but has age cracks and a gloss which matches the broken branch on the tree above. It may be possible that the painting was reworked at a later date but further analysis would need to be undertaken.

In the lower left quadrant there are old areas of diagonal damage which have been overpainted. There are other localised areas of overpaint scattered across the surface. The varnish is glossy and even with a light layer of surface dirt.
