Sanderson and other Drop-Bed Cameras, Sanderson half-plate hand & stand camera serial no. 1513 (c. 1901), with red bellows, restored, with later Rodenstock Ysarex f/4.5 150mm lens in working Synchro-Compur shutter, cosmetically F, optics G; Sanderson quarter-plate hand & stand camera, serial no. 15178 (c. 1908), with red bellows, P with missing back, fitted with later Tessar f/4/5 15cm lens in working rim-set Compur shutter, F; and unmarked stereo model with polished wood interior, lacking lenses and lens board, red bellows, P The half-plate Sanderson has been carefully reconstructed with non-original back and attractively-polished wood finish replacing original leatherette. Bellows probably later and repaired with replacement lining. Could be a good camera to use and carries a useful Rodenstock coated lens promising good optical performance. Smaller Sanderson lacks back, bellows leak light, with missing and replacement parts; some brasswork stripped and polished. Lens appears to have internal dust or fungus, shutter works fine. Stereo camera a restoration project only.
