A 19th century four piece gilt brass desk set comprising inkwell, blotter of rectangular form, a pair of candlesticks, each with enamel cabochons decorated with a Star of David (4).Additional InformationOne of the candlesticks is slightly bent, the same stick is missing two enamel cabochons and a large chip to one of the cabochons on the bottom rim, the second candlestick with one enamel cabochon missing and four further examples with chips to the enamel, the inkwell complete with glass gilt metal liner, the blotter with minor chipping to the central cabochon which is also loose, light wear and scratches throughout.

The drummer in yellow and the violinist with some wear to detailing on the faces, the other drummer is better. All with light general age wear however the violinist has moth damage to both clothes and hair. No key however all do wind and run but the juggler needs some coaxing.

The mouse is worn and grubby. The dog with some wear to the tartan area especially around the keyhole aperture and some tarnishing to the nose etc. The cat with some light marks but probably the best of the three. Appears to retail an original label. Bear an unknown make - in poor condition.

SITZENDORF; a French porcelain figure of a soldier, height 24cm, together with two Lladro figures of polar bear cubs and a Nao figure group of a two choir boys.Additional InformationThe choir boys are missing something from their hands, light wear throughout, the Sitzendorf figure has a piece broken from his cap, one of their belts has snapped, the sword has come loose from his hand.

The mechanism does wind although it does not run. The decoration has some sun fading throughout, a few light scratches and general rubbed areas. The mud guard to the motorcycle is slightly rusted. Overall fair condition.

LEHMANN; a tinplate clockwork cat 'Nina', with articulated head, length 18cm, with a West German tinplate model friction rocket, length 19cm (2).PROVENANCE: The Collection of Jack Tempest. Additional InformationThe cat is lacking the mouse and tail. The mechanism winds but does not run. A patina of scratches and scuffs throughout with general wear and one of the ears is slightly bent and worn. The Jupiter rocket with light scratches and scuffs throughout but overall appearance ok.

It does wind and operate. General light wear to the surface and some discolouration. The boy in the sledge does wind but needs coaxing and the mechanism is tarnished throughout. General rust spots and wear throughout. The monkey group does wind and run, general age wear spotting and wear to the paint.

ROYAL CROWN DERBY; a twenty-eight piece tea service decorated in the 1128 pattern, together with a similar square shaped dish and comport decorated in the same pattern, also a Royal Crown Derby trio decorated in the 2451 pattern.Additional InformationThe circular comport had the large chip to the foot, the sugar bowl from the 1128 pattern is cracked and with a chip, light wear to the gilding throughout, light wear to the gilding.

There is wear and some rusting to the paint on this figure. Bike and sidecar is clockwork, light wear and some tarnishing to the detail throughout. No key and part of the mechanism appears to be lacking. The German clown in the blue coat does not have a key but does wind and operate. General light scuffs and scratches to the surface throughout. The Japanese clown does wind and operates. General light scuffs and scratches to the surface but overall ok. The final clown is a model of Charlie Chaplin, there is no key but the mechanism does wind and operative, general rubbing and light scratches here and there throughout.

SCHUCO; a tinplate clockwork figure of Charlie Chaplin with box, with felt clothes, height 16cm (2).PROVENANCE: The Collection of Jack Tempest. This is possibly the example illustrated in Jack's book 'Collecting Tin Toys, page 84. Additional InformationNo key however the figure does wind and operate with the yellow cane spinning round and round. Wear to the paint on the cane and also to the cane hand. Light age wear marks to the trousers and lightly grubby in parts but overall appearance is good. The tap to the lid of the box is almost detached and general wear to the box throughout.

Light age wear rubbing and scratches to the surface of all of the figures and piano but essentially ok. The box in poor condition, it does retain directions sheet.

BLOMER & SCHULER; a German tinplate function-powered walking Pug dog, length 18cm, with a German tinplate clockwork toy of two dancing dogs in top hats, height 14cm (2).PROVENANCE: The Collection of Jack Tempest. Additional InformationThe walking dog does function but fully. General age wear light scratches and scuffs to the surface, a little grubby around the ears and general wear around the feet, etc. The dancing dogs with tarnishing to the top and base section, other tarnishing/rusting to the edges and chipping and scratches to the detailing throughout. The dogs do wind and operate although there is no music.

Some light rust patches visible.

Overall condition fair.

MARX; a tin plate clockwork Goofy the Gardener toy in original box, height 18.5cm (2).PROVENANCE: The Collection of Jack Tempest. Additional InformationThe clockwork mechanism does wind though it needs some coaxing to rotate and it is intermittent, general light scratches to the inside of the wheelbarrow and also to the figure of Goofy, lesser so to the bottom of the wheelbarrow, box with general wear and some tears.
