A pair of 19th century Chinese vases, each with mirroring figural designs to the body. No marks to the bases. One vase having an electric light fitting (not tested) CONDITION REPORT; Approximately 45 cm high (without light fitting). Please see additional photographs Vase 1: Very good physical condition with one chip to the rim of approximately 1.2cm x 0.7cm, no other visible damage or repair. The vase has not been drilled, and the light conversion is removable without causing damage. Light pitting and some discolouration. Working condition of the light is unknown. Vase 2: Poor physical condition, the neck and rim has suffered a major impact (we suspect from over-tightening of the light conversion) and has considerable loss (pictured) Some small pieces have been retained but not enough to make the vase complete. The vase has not been drilled.
