Jacob Kramer (1892-1962) "Young cricketer"Oil on canvas of a young boy holding a bat, signed and dated 1941, 60x50cm, framed. CONDITION REPORT: The painting has previously undergone minor restoration. Under UV light there is small areas of over paint. Signs of an old natural resin varnish. Varnish appears to be a newer synthetic varnish.

dating: early 20th Century provenance: Borneo, Wide, slightly curved, single-edged blade, finely engraved with geometrical motifs alongside, the back part chiselled and pierced toward the foible, the base with curls. Light-wooden grip of typical shape, richly embossed, the base with iron wire binding, the pommel with black horsehair; fine, wooden scabbard, partially embossed and engraved, held by colored, rattan bands. length 65 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Of circular shape, in silver. On the back: dedication 'AL VALORE MILITARE', with relieved Savoy coat-of-arms in the center, below the initials 'F.G'. On the front: 'CAMPAGNA DELLA BASSA ITALIA 1860 - 1861'. Engraved dedication 'A GIOVANNI VALLE' and 'GAETA'. With antique, light-blue ribbon, with various signs of use and time. height 34 mm.
dating: provenance: Europe, Straight blade of triangular section, with slightly hollow facets. Engraved with crescents on one side at the forte, a gold-inlaid, Oriental decoration on the other. Brass, gilded hilt. Shell-guard with floral decorations in relief and silver Maltese Cross. Quillon, guard and pommel decorated en suite. Grip with light horn grip scales. Leather scabbard with brass mounts. length 87 cm.
dating: 17th/18th Century provenance: Italy, With wooden structure, parallelepiped seats with padding, lined with marbled by repair, light-blue fabric. Seatback lined en suite. The two seatback bars surmounted by a decoration, carved with acanthus leaf with traces of gilding. Polished armrest supports, baluster-shaped. Legs joined by a bar alongside, feet carved with an animal's paw in the front part. Some woodwarm hole. However, solid structure and in good condition. height 130,5 cm.
dating: 17th Century provenance: Germany, Octagonal, rifled, 15 mm cal. barrel, with rear and fore-sight, the base with remains of engravings; internal wheel-lock, flat plate with remains of engravings, pan with openable side, sliding pan cover, slightly engraved inside; dark-wood, full stock, richly decorated with bone and mother-of-pearl inlaid hounds, fox, bird, snakes, trees, hops and bands, light, horn butt-plate, patchbox, iron, anatomical trigger-guard, set trigger. Bone-tipped wooden ramrod. Defects, parts missing and repairs. length 89.5 cm.
dating: 20th Century provenance: Sumatra, Strongly curved, single-and false-edged blade in fine pamor. Black, horn grip with pommel pierced to insert the forefinger, brass, smooth ring-nut. Light, wooden scabbard, held by the braided bands and with black, horn cap (small part missing). length 21 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Large, curved, singel-and false-edged blade (traces of damask?), thickened at the back, featuring on the right side a long cartouche with inscriptions in Arabic letters, together with other four smaller cartouches, featuring inscriptions in Arabic letters as well, all gilded; on the left side three similar cartouches, with inscriptions and gilding as well. Back with remains of gilding as well. Cross-shaped, brass quillon, quillons with olive-shaped ends. Grip with remains of light blue cabochons, of turquoise type. Horn grip scales. Wooden scabbard covered with red velvet. Silver chape and cap, bearing inscriptions, persons and animals in relief; two lugs. length 82 cm.
