It is however probably light in palette anyway. The frame and glass are in good order and the miniature itself does not appear to have any damage. We have looked at the image under a magnifying glass and cannot see any damage.

A Victorian armchair, with hoop shaped back, turned supports and stuffover seat upholstered in moquette, with serpentine front rail and raised on turned front legs terminating in castors. CONDITION REPORT: The chair is in good and untouched, original, unrestored condition. We cannot see any breaks on any of the legs and the castors are original. The moquette upholstery although very dirty is actually very sound. The woodwork is generally also a little dirty and requires a clean and light polish.
