ELVIS PRESLEY - SURRENDER/LONELY MAN - Extremely rare 33 1/3 rpm version of the 7" single (37-7850). This single was far more ubiquitous as a 45 with very few 33s produced. Matrix numbers are M2P1 1859-7S/M2P1 1860-5S. Condition is VG/VG+ with light surface marks on playing surface with some deeper marks on the vinyl that do not effect playing grooves. Comes with picture sleeve.
WET WILLIE HARRIS - ROCKIN' WITH WEE WILLIE - An outstanding copy of this rare EP on Decca (tri-centre DFE 6465); without him would we have had The Beatles? The record is in extremely clean Ex condition with perhaps just a couple of very light and faint surface markings. The sleeve is in brilliant Ex+ condition with just traces of edgewear.
THE CLOVERS - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE - Another London tri-centre rarity with this 1956 cut from The Clovers, which was later successfully covered by The Diamonds (45-HLE 8314 1st UK issue. The record is in clean Ex condition with only a couple of rather minor hairline markings, and some (again, light) shadowing. The tri-centre is fully intact. Complete with original company sleeve.
ELVIS PRESLEY - MYSTER TRAIN - 7MC 42 - The original UK export copy of the shakin' 1955 45! HMV purple/gold lettering (7MC 42). The record is in solid VG+ condition with just a couple of light and minor surface markings/scuff marks. There are certainly no heavier markings or scratches and the usually faded labels are in lovely, clean and sharp condition. The original four pronged centre is fully intact. Complete with original HMV company sleeve (VG with some creasing).
THE DON RENDELL/IAN CARR QUINTET - PHASE III - Another iconic recording featuring this famous quintet. An original mono recording on Columbia (SX 6214). The record is in very strong VG+ condition with a few light surface marks and scuffs, but this is certainly not a major feature at all, and there are no scratches to the LP. With a 'Factory Sample Not For Sale' sticker on side 2 label. MATRIX: XAX 3549-1U/3550-1U. The sleeve is in VG condition with no rips or tears but a noticeable creases running down the bottom half of the front cover (left hand side).
ELVIS - RARITIES - A lovely collection of 4 x 7" releases. Titles include: OST from Easy Come, Easy Go (EPA 4387, six track EP, white label promo, picture sleeve, colour postcard, Ex+/Ex+); Elvis sings 2 OST selections from 'Kid Galahad' (SP45-118, DJ preview special promo, not for sale label, DJ preview sleeve, addition DJ notes, VG/Ex, a few light surface marks with one very small feelable mark); Perfect For Parties Highlight Album (SPA-7-37, EP, not for sale label, picture sleeve, VG+/Ex, light surface marks); and, The Truth About Me (Rainbo Records, 78rpm cardboard sound sheet from 'Elvis Answers Back' magazine).
