Haselbech Oak light oak dresser, the upper section with three glazed doors, the base with three doors above cupboards, width 153cm, depth 46cm, height 203cm.Condition report:There is some noticeable discolouration to various parts of the top half. The central top door does not close fully. One drawer is a bit stiff. The drawers have dovetail joints. Generally sound. Please see additional uploaded images.
A set of six (4+2) Ercol Windsor stick-back dining chairs with upholstered seat cushions. All six chairs are in very well presented condition and show little signs of use or wear. No visible splits or repairs are apparent, besides one single chair which is beginning to split at its top. Another single chair has some scuffs to the back rest, several have light edge-knocks, likely from movement around a table. The cushions would benefit from a clean, but again are presentable.
Manner of Sir Peter Lely (1618-1680) oil on canvas - Portrait of a Noblewoman, 75cm x 64cm, in gilt frameAs to the age of the work it is possibly of the period, or early 18th century. The canvas has been lined, however many decades ago. There is the inevitable re-touching visible under a UV light. The frame is a fairly modern copy. John Frederick Herring (1815-1907) oil on canvas - Farmyard with horses ducks and chickens beside a pond, signed, 28cm x 34cm, oval, in glazed gilt frame Very good presentable condition. Under a UV light there is evidence of overpainting particularly around the trees on the left side and also the roof of the shelter, otherwise good overall. The mount and frame are later.
Peter De Wint (1784-1849) oil on canvas - Stacking Hay, label verso, 41cm x 56cm, in gilt frame Basically good presentable condition and ready to hang.
