Alice in Wonderland: A Dream Play for Children took to the London stage in 1886. The collaboration sparked a correspondence between Savile-Clarke's family, particularly Maggie and her sister Katherine (Kitty), and Dodgson. Tragically Maggie died in 1894, aged twenty-two, from tuberculosis.
