BROOKS, Professor Christopher: Design for (or copy of) stained glass window in the high gothic style. Signed with monogram. Professor Brooks was a leading light of the VIctorian Society, a prodigious publisher of scholarly books and articles and an expert in stained glass (he co-authored a key study of the great window of Exeter Cathedral). He was highly influential in promoting the restoration of The Albert Memorial. He published his 'masterpiece' (The Guardian obituary), 'The Gothic Revival' in 1999. There is a small loss to (St Peter's?) face.

A Royal Engineers Volunteers Officers Home Service Helmet early 20th century, dark blue cloth body cork helmet with volunteer pattern officers home service helmet plate, having central scroll blanked, silvered rosette side bosses, cruciform spike base with rosettes and officers fluted spike, leather sweatband and crimson cloth lining to interior, housed in original tin hat box, together with a leather binoculars pouch, pair of white dress gloves and a portapee. * Provenance: Helmet belonging to A.W. Bowerbank, Engineers, later joining C & A Parsons, developed steam turbines for Cunard, then worked on National grid of Canada and later Battersea Power Station. *Light wear, missing chin strap, tin with rust, overall good.

(5) *All pieces in very good condition, with only evidence of very light use. The shutter on the camera functions. The rare boxes are foxed and the lid of the camera box has a split to one side.

QB1, containing fourteen LPs in white embossed sleeves, plus book, Tour Itinerary 1971-1985 and world map displaying countries where Queen has charted and appeared in concert, in the original lidded box. *LPs near mint - appear to have been played very little, if at all. The map and tour itinerary have some foxing. Box has a crease to top left of lid, some scuffs and light scratches and a small indent to top right of the lid. Very faint price sticker adhesive mark to top right corner.
