(stitched label verso), the red ground with central four pointed dark blue medallion centred by an oval floral rosette, pendants with tendrils issuing from either end, light blue floral and foliate spandrels, within a broad floral meander border and multiple narrow borders, 16ft. 1½in. x 11ft. 2½in. (491.5 x 342cm.).

(24.5cm.) high. * CONDITION: A few light scratches to the surface, approx. 2 to 4 mm. long in a small area between a white iris and a yellow blossom to back of vase. A few other tiny nicks & scratches to surface. Otherwise in very good condition with no other damage or restoration noted.
A small, slender Japanese cloisonné silver wired vase Meiji period, the black ground with decoration of two sparrows flying amongst wisteria, prunus and mixed flowers, the everted neck and flared foot with lappet bands, the reverse with a single iris and leaves, 6¼in. (15.5cm.) high. * CONDITION: Small scuff to base of neck and a few light surface scratches. Some fine pitting to surface, from the making. No other damage or restoration noted.
A silver wired Japanese cloisonné vase Meiji period, of slender baluster form, the midnight blue ground with two-gauge silver wire decoration of a bird in wisteria with irises, mixed flowers and rocks at the base, signed with three character mark, 6in. (15.2cm.) high. * CONDITION: Slight bruise to neck rim mount. The enamel just below the rim mount is slightly uneven and the c-scrolls unevenly visible - this is possibly restoration but we are not sure. A little lack of enamel fill to some areas of decoration and light pitting, from the making. No other damage or restoration noted.
A black ground silver wired Japanese cloisonné vase by Hayakawa Komesiro Meiji period, with decoration in two gauge silver wire of a large eagle perching on rocks amidst breaking waves and eyeing two birds flying past, which appear on the reverse, signed Hayakawa Komejiro, 12¾in. (32.3 cm.) high. * CONDITION: Impact cracks below eagle's breast running down onto rocks, approx. 3½in. long. Approx. 2in. to the left another crack running approx. 3½in. up and across to the left. Another smaller impact crack to base of vase. A few other light scratches.
A pair of slender ovoid Japanese cloisonné vases Meiji period, the mid-blue ground with extremely fine silver wire decoration of three baskets of flowers, aslant around the body, two baskets with gold sparkle to the band of brown circles, 8 5/8in. (22cm.) high. (2) * CONDITION: Vase 1: A few small vertical scratches above brown bud below top basket, approx. 1 cm. long, and a small impact bruise to waist of neck. Vase 2: Two very short, light scratches to the blue ground, 1 mm. long, above white iris and the other 2 mm. long to the left of top basket. Tiny stress cracks and flake at base of neck. Minute bruise below shoulder.Both have minor pits to the surface from the making.

A Japanese tsuiki-jippo cloisonné enamel vase Meiji period, of squat ovoid form, the ground incised with four fan-tail fish, two shaded red and two shaded purple/grey, swimming amongst weed beneath translucent surface enamel from mid green at the neck, through light gold to pale copper at the base, 7¼in. (18.3cm.) high. * CONDITION: In very good condition. No damage or restoration noted.
A slender oviform Japanese cloisonné vase Meiji period, with fine silver wire decoration of three varicoloured pigeons in a prunus tree with lilies, irises and other flowers at the base, the reverse with white irises, 12in. (31cm.) high. * CONDITION: Hairline crack to white pigeon's breast. A V-shaped hairline below brass neck mount running approx. 2cm. from rim and a curved hairline crack below the top rim approx. 3.5cm. wide. A light vertical scratch to the surface to left of prunus branch approx. 3.5cm. long.
A light blue ground silver wired Japanese cloisonné vase Meiji period, of slender void form, with fine silver wire decoration of nineteen sparrows among mauve and white irises, grasses and other flowers, the reverse with varicoloured irises and yellow flowers, the flared foot with a band of lancets in purple, red and dark red, 9 5/8in. (24.5cm.) high. * CONDITION: Minor pitting and some lack of enamel in-fill, from the making. No other damage or restoration noted.
A pair of midnight blue ground Japanese cloisonné vases by Ota Jinnoei Meiji period, of hexagonal, tapered baluster form with long, slightly flared necks, decorated with alternate red and light blue ground lappets with dragons and Ho-Ho birds in fine silver wire, below a broad band of gold sparkle decoration inset with alternate stylised butterflies and flowers, standing on a flared, geometrically decorated foot, the neck with similar decoration, signed to the bases, 8½in. (21.7cm.) high. (2) * CONDITION: Vase 1: Hairline crack (split into 3) to one red-ground lappet and an associated bifurcated hairline to the edge of the adjacent pale blue lappet. Another red lappet has a very fine 1cm. hairline extending from the tip of the phoenix's beak. and some fine pitting to the surface of the enamel (from the making). Tiny bruise and flake from the bottom of one of the stylised pendants diving the lappet reserves.Vase 2: Tiny (5mm) hairline to bottom of one of the red lappet reserves. Some minor pits to the enamel from the making to both vases.

(12.2cm.) high. (2) * CONDITION: A little fine pitting to surface, from the making. Old glue marks around the edge of one base. No other damage or restoration noted.

(12.7cm.) high. (2) * CONDITION: Slight imperfection to neck of one vase, showing a copper pin and tilted rim mount. The other is in good condition.

An ancient Luristan (northern Persia, now Iran), bronze axe head curved and flared blade with moulded top edge, three raised ridges emanating from mid-blade terminating in wrap effect to the cylindrical pole shaft with four conical projections to the butt, nice patination with light sediment, on later wooden display handle, blade edge 3in. (7.6cm.) overall width from top edge tip to tip of butt spike 7¼in. (18.4cm.), 2½in. (6.4cm.) high.
A Lancia Delta Evoluzione 2 Integrale Registration S11 HSA odometer reading 59,169 kilometers, this car was imported from a collection in Japan late last year, it is a rare example of one of the last Evo 2's to leave the factory in November 1994. Full service history. Fresh MOT and less than 50 UK road miles since import, this car has never been exposed to the salt that commonly attacked all European Integrales. The second Evolution of the Delta HF Intergrale featured an updated version of the 2 litre 16 valve turbo engine to produce more power as well as a three way catalyst and Lambada probe. A Marelli integrated engine controls the system. The 1993 Integrale received a cosmetic and functional face lift that included new 16" light alloy rims, body moulding's, control windows, aluminium fuel cap with air intake grilles, lead painted cylinder head, new leather covered three spoke steering wheel, standard Recare seats. The Lancia Delta pedigree stems from its rallying background where it was introduced in the late 1980's, the Delta HF four wheel drive featured a two litre tubro charged engine and four wheel drive. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: The larger of the three vases - two minor chips to swirling rim, minor rubbing to gilt rim, minor rubbing to the lions beneath the scrolling rim, leafy yellow and gilt branch handles; good condition, some rubbing, minor discolouration to the right of the left handle, some rubbing to the gilt border enclosing the panel of flowers, minor discolouration to the right of the scrolling gilt and yellow leaf at the back, rubbing to the gilt foot rim. Second vase - rubbing to the gilt swirling rim, some rubbing to the branch handles, extensive rubbing to the gilt and yellow swirling leaf at the back, minor rubbing to the gilt enclosing the floral panel, light discolouration to the left of the swirling yellow and gilt leaf at the back, rubbing to the gilt of foot rim. Third vase - minor graze/chip to the inner swirling rim, minor smaller chip to the rim, rubbing's to gilt, scrolling handles minor rubbing to the gilt, minor rubbing to the back of the vase yellow and gilt scrolling leaf, some rubbing to the yellow and gilt leafy scrolls enclosing the panel of painted blooms, minor rubbing to the gilt foot rim, firing bubble in between the swirling handles above the back of the scrolling leaf. No restorations.
