A George III twin light candelabrum, modelled as a fluted column on a stepped plinth, the detachable S scroll branches centred with a finial in the form of a covered urn, the plinth base with swags, rams heads and crested oval cartouches, (crests also to the drip pans) inscribed '19'14, N:4', turned wooden base, by John Carter, London 1772, 16.75in (42.5cm) high.

The silver deep toned, otherwise about extremely fine.
