A rare tinplate clockwork Bub Limousine, produced around 1912. Approx 35cm long finished in gloss dark blue with black roof and wings, an example with opening windscreen. Twin brake levers with simple headlight fittings. Complete with chauffeur. Spoked wheels and opening doors look to be old replacements. Clockwork motor in working order. QGC-GC for age. Age worn and some denting/light rusting. Plate. 2
A rare early 1900’s clockwork two-seat Open Tourer. Maker is unknown, but the general opinion is that it’s thought to be by Karl Bub. 23cm long painted in white with orange lined detailing, red seats with original Chauffeur style driver. Complete with lights, (often missing), working brake lever, glazed windscreen, original light brown spoked wheels with original white rubber tyres. Clockwork motor in working order-tired. GC-for age. Some wear/paint flaking overall. One tyre split. Plate. 2
A rare Lehmann clockwork tinplate ‘Naughty Boy’. A small tinplate Vis-à-vis with an erratic motion made by the small boy seated at the front. The figures, a man dressed in a light brown suit with period peaked cap and the boy, dressed in a sailors uniform are both hand painted. The ‘vehicle’ is in blue and cream with litho detailing and patent data to rear. VGC-for age. Some light wear overall. Coil spring clockwork mechanism tired. Plate. 2
A rare Bing tinplate clockwork Model T Ford 2-seater open coupe. Finished in traditional gloss black, with black spoked wheels with grey ‘tyres’. The only model in this range of four vehicles (Open Coupe, Doctor’s Coupe, 4-seater Open Tourer and a Six Light Limousine) to have a female driver. Clockwork motor in good working order.
