A rare British Belisha beacon road safety mohair duck circa 1934, with orange mohair round head, black and white striped mohair body with long neck and wings, orange felt beak, black and yellow legs and feet and probably replaced embroidered eyes —8 1/4in. (21cm.) high (some general wear and thinning, slight discolouration) - this duck represents a British road crossing flashing light that was introduced during a road safety campaign in 1934 organised the Minister for Transport Leslie Hore-Belisha, possibly some sort of school prize after a road safety lesson, it is know this duck comes in three sizes
Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willow Mole and Ratty soft toys, Mole of grey velvet, light brown stitched eye, nose and mouth, swivel head, jointed well shaped limbs with card lined feet, soft stuffed, brown and wool zig-zagged patterned jacket, waistcoat and flat cap —12in.
