A .22” BSA Airsporter Mark I air rifle, number GB 10464 (1956-58, last digit indistinct), with knurled wheel adjustable rearsight, no visible barrel or air chamber markings, 3 piece walnut stock. GWO & basically GC (light rust patina, some wear); also a .177” late model Webley Jaguar air rifle, with smooth sided stock parallel sided telescopic sight ramp, and no sign of serial number. VGWO & C, retaining all original finish. (2)

A .22” BSA Airsporter Mk VI air rifle, number GL 27626 (c 1976), with adjustable plastic rearsight, stamped barrel and air chamber markings, and one piece beech stock with rubber heel to the butt, with sling swivels and webbing sling. GWO & clean condition, retaining most original blued finish (some light surface rust to barrel).
A delicate late 18th century naval dirk, tapering diamond section blade 6½”, small gilt flattened oval guard, facetted slightly swollen crossguard, rectangular lower band and pommel with prominent stud, ivory grip. GC, the mounts retaining approx 75% original gilt (a little light age pitting to blade).
A 1796 pattern light cavalry trooper’s sword, curved shallow fullered blade 32½”, marked “Osborn” on backstrap and with inspector’s stamp at forte, regulation steel stirrup hilt with langets, plain pommel and backstrap with “ears” to wirebound leather grip (replaced). Basically GC (some wear and light pitting overall).

GWO & C (worn with some light pitting, the ramrod and swivels well replaced, top jaw and screw crude old replacements)

A 48 bore percussion boxlock side hammer pocket pistol, 6½” overall, turn off barrel 1¾”, with B’ham proofs and numbered “6” on barrel and breech, the frame engraved “Leech, Chelmsford”, with plain walnut butt. WO & basically GC (worn overall, some moderate pitting and bruising, some light restoration).
A Vic General officer’s mameluke hilted sword, curved flat blade 30½”, by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, etched with crowned VR cypher, wreaths and crossed baton and sword on one side, and crowned VR cypher, blank scrolled panel and rosettes on the other, all in foliate panels, ornamental gilt crossguard and langets incorporating crossed baton and sword, ivory grips with gilt rosettes and backstrap, swordknot (replaced), no scabbard. GC, retaining approx 90% hilt gilt (blade cleaned over light pitting) Plate 6
A 1796 pattern Light Cavalry troopers sword, curved, shallow fullered blade 32½”, marked I Gill on backstrap and with clear crown/5 inspector’s stamp at forte, steel stirrup hilt with langets, plain knucklebow and backstrap with ears to ribbed grip, in its steel scabbard with 2 rings. GC, the blade retaining traces of original finish (tiny edge nicks towards point, dark rust patina to scabbard). Plate 6
