SAL 3475-79 - WAGNER PARSIFAL - KNAPPERTSBUSCH - A fabulous 5 x LP set of this famous work with Hans Knappertsbusch conducting Jess Thomas, George London and Hans Hotter (Philips silver/plum labels SAL 3475-79). All records are in sublime Ex+/archive quality condition with virtually no markings throughout. Indeed the lack of spindle wear to the records indicate that this set has been played extremely sparingly. Complete with 40 page book and stapled insert (both in excellent condition). The outer box is Ex with some light edgewear, but this is only rather minor.

SAX 2254-56 - VERDI FALSTAFF - KARAJAN - Superb ED1 UK stereo box set of Herbert Von Karajan conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus performing Verid's Falstaff (SAX 2254/2256). The records are in Ex to Ex+ condition with a light surface mark on side 2 (this is only light and small) - there are few other markings to note. Complete with full libretto and additional booklet. The 'Musical Centres Of The World' company inners are all present. The outer box is in Ex+ condition with a very small bump to the bottom left corner (front).

ASD 331/33 - BIZET CARMEN - DE LOS ANGELES/BEECHAM - Another original UK ED1 3 x LP box set of one of the most recognised operas by Georges Bizet (ASD 331-333). The records are in Ex+ condition with just a few very light scuff marks on side 1, but little other detriments. Complete with libretto and insert. The box is in VG+ condition with sign of possible water damage on the inside left compartment of thebox. Nothing is ripped or torn. The outer box is Ex with some quite minor edgewear.

QUEEN AND RELATED - This lot of five albums features three by Queen and two by Bryan May. Everything is in Ex+ condition and offers a chance to bid on fantastic copies of works by some of the most cherished names in the music business. There is Queen's final album from 1995 "Made in Heaven" (PCSD 167) which is an original UK pressing. This album is a limited edition on ivory coloured vinyl in a gatefold sleeve with three posters and a postcard. There is also a numbered limited edition remastered 1995 reissue of "The Game" (MFSL 1-211) which is on heavy-weight 200 gram vinyl and the original UK pressing of the 1997 compilation "Queen Rocks" (823 0911). This two record release comes in a gatefold sleeve with printed inners. The Brian May releases are original UK pressings and include a rare picture disc release of "Another World" (4949731) and "Back To The Light" (077778640019 with textured sleeve and printed inner).

JIMI HENDRIX: FACTORY SEALED 4 TRACKS - This lot comprises of two original 4-track releases from Jimi Hendrix with "Band of Gypsys" (M472) and "The Cry of Love" (RST 2034 B). Any release on this format is highly desirable for collectors, but the superlative condition of both items makes this unique. Although both over forty years old, both items are brand-new factory sealed. The Cry of Love is entirely wrapped in its factory cellophane, while Band of Gypsys still has it's factory cellophane with a slight split along the bottom. It goes without saying that both albums have never seen the light-of-day. Put simply, this is an unparalleled lot.

Recorded live at Liverpool's 'Cavern' and released in 1964.

All in all, a rare and fine lot, and a great slice of Genesis history.

The record is in VG+ condition with some light surface marks; these never extend deeper than this and there are certainly no heavier marks or scratches. MATRIX 612001 A1/B1. The original fully laminated sleeve is in VG condition with some creasing to the laminate and some shelfwear. No rips/tears. A more than solid copy!
