Moorcroft Macintyre 'Pansy' bowl having a ruffled rim, base with brown printed marks and green W. Moorcroft signature, 23cm diameter Condition: There is one chip around the frilled edge which runs from the highest point to the lowest point of one 'wave' of the edge and therefore measures approximately 40mm in length, there is uniform crazing with some light staining and looking at the base coming from the foot rim there appears to be one more pronounced glaze crack measuring approximately 30mm in length, but there is no corresponding crack visible on the interior, when looking from above there are five faint hairline/firing cracks which run from the highest point of the frill vertically down, each approximately 15mm in length, we would recommend viewing this lot in person
Early 20th Century brass five draw telescope by Broadhurst Clarkson & Co Ltd of London, brown stitched leather case and end caps, 106cm long when fully extended, together with a brass and oak folding floor standing tripod Condition: There is wear to the leather and a certain amount of typical rubbing where the sections draw across one another and some light pitting on the largest section - **General condition consistent with age

A George III style mahogany breakfast table, with inlaid centre medallion and satinwood edge, raised on a centre turned column with four downswept legs terminating in brass castors. Diameter 60 ins. CONDITION REPORT: This table is structurally very sound and despite its size does not wobble. The top is well figured and of good flame mahogany veneer which we would describe as "medium mahogany" rather than light or dark. The colour on our website (www.mitchellsantiques.co.uk) is reasonably accurate. The general colour is nice and rich. The top is not warped and the piece is in generally good condition, simply requiring a clean and light polish.

CONDITION REPORT: Whilst in overall very good general condition this dinner service has been used and as such has generally very light knife scratches. The ashettes have lost nearly all of their gilding. One of the smaller ashettes has discoloured crazing. One of the gravy boats has a chip to the base, one of the bowls has two chips approximately 1 cm square. A dinner plate has a crack ¾ of the way through, 3 of the medium plates have small chips, a medium tureen has discoloured cracks and staining to the base. One of the small tureens has a firing flaw and another has chip to the rim on the lid. Medium tureen stand has discoloured crazing to the base.

The standard is structurally sound and in generally good order. There are some minor scuffs and blemishes to the paintwork on the turned column but nothing of great significance. A collection of three Amherst Japan Ironstone rum butter bowls, two diameter 9.25 ins and one 8 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The smaller of the bowls has age related wear, scratches, etc. To the underside it has discoloured crazing allover but this is not visible to the interior. The first of the larger bowls is in good order again showing signs of age and very light discoloured crazing to the underside. The second of the larger bowls is in excellent condition with only light scratches to the interior, no crazing. The first two bowls date from approximately mid 19th century, the latter one is stamped to the base “Made in England” so would be after 1898.
A pair of 19th century bronze vases, with relief moulded putto figures, now converted to electrical lamps. Height excluding light fittings 15 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both lamps are in generally very good condition. Having had a good look at the pair it is likely that they have not been converted but have always been fitted for electricity. This would make them probably circa 1910 rather than 19th century. There are no problems. The only minor fault is that the gilding is tarnished and rubbed as you will be able to see from the images.
