A fine scale model of a 90ft Motor Fishing Vessel, M.F.V.1174. Admiralty designed on Trawler Lines during 1914-18 War as an Armed Fleet Auxiliary. These vessels were readily converted for fishing on their release from active service. This wooden model has an overall length of 95cm and is finely detailed superstructure, 2 masts, wheel house, funnel, Port/Starboard lights, winches and capstans, twin ventilators, rowing boat, brass propeller, rudder etc. Hull finished in battleship grey, with black lower hull. Planked decking and hatch cover. Mounted on simple wooden stands, with a brass plaque stating the model details. The model was built by L. Currie of Brampton, Huntington. VGC minor wear and light cleaning required. £100-150
