Signed by all four members of the group in green pen, within frame (unglazed) 11 x 8" overall.Provenance: Signed in person for the vendors parents circa 1975, whilst they were in Sweden and met the group in a local restaurant. Set designer, John Lageu, gave Peter his first job at the Slough Studios and asked him to build a chair for Brains in the feature film Thunderbirds Six, and when fellow Set designer, Keith Wilson, saw Peters finished chair, he asked him to make the furniture for Lady Penelopes Pink Room in the same film. Peter went on to design and build props for Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, The Secret Service, the UFO series, Terrahawks and Space Police. Over the years, Peter Holmes has worked for many productions including, Set Designer, Along the Way (1972), 1970s pop videos for Adam Ant, Godley and Creme, Duran Duran, and later, Calling Elvis for Dire Straits. He sculpted the head for Max Headrooms ventriloquist puppets and supervised the shoot of Maxs exploding head. Peter won an award for a model of a Dauntless fighter bomber made for a crash sequence for the TV mini-series, War and Remembrance (1988-1989).Condition Report: Light wear to leather from production use, otherwise overall good condition.
BLUR Ultranol, light up pill. Stage prop from The Great Escape album (1995) Tour. Approx 93cm x 30cm. Has 2 Suspension cables fitted. Ultranol was the name of the Blur B Side track to their single The Universal. The vendor obtained this prop in a raffle at the 10 Years of Blur exhibition at the Lux Gallery, Hoxton in 1999. The number 21 is written in marker on the body of the prop. Condition Report: Plug has been cut off. Second photograph was taken showing this item illuminated before plug was snipped. Plastic is broken at one end, has sellotape, scuffs and marks. The Red inner part of the pill moves around when it should stay in one place so electrics will need attention to ensure safety.

Jennings Lucky Punter 1961 One Arm Bandit. The Lucky Punter was a machine made for the British market by Jennings of Chicago, hence the typical British name. The Lucky Punter is very similar to The Governor, which was possibly the most popular and remembered one arm bandit in Britain, with most people referring to the shiny brass Indian head bust on the front.
