Schreibplatte (Maße 157 x 86 x 4 cm) mit hellbraunem Leder bezogen und mit umlaufenden Messingnieten verziert. Zwei seitliche Holzkästen (Maße 77 x 43 x 75) mit gerundeten Ecken, verschließbaren Türen, getönten Kupferbeschlägen sowie großen Eisenschlüsseln, die linke Seite mit drei ausziehbaren Innenladen, die rechte mit einem Zwischenboden, darüber jeweils eine Schublade (Schlüssel fehlen) und je eine ausziehbare Schreib- oder Ablagelade. Zwischen den Kästen eine große Schublade, der Schlüssel fehlt. Gesamthöhe 81 cm. Zerlegbar in die Schreibplatte, die zwei Seitenkästen sowie die mittige Schublade. Dazu der rotbraune, lederne Papierkorb (Maße 41 x 26 cm) mit Prägedekor sowie geprägtem Monogramm "DR". Eine Lederschreibmappe und ein ledergebundener Notizblock mit identisch geprägtem Monogramm. Hölzernes Utensilienkästchen mit Deckelfurnier aus Wurzelholz, eine lederne Schreibtischunterlage mit Löschpapiereinlage, eine hölzerne Löschwiege und ein Paar hölzerne Buchstützen. Im Oktober 1943 übersiedelte die Familie Rommel von Wiener Neustadt nach Herrlingen, zunächst in die als Haus Breitenfels oder Martin Buber-Haus bekannte Villa, in der bis 1939 unter Leitung von Hugo Rosenthal das "Jüdische Landschulheim Herrlingen" untergebracht war. Erwin Rommel, seit Juli 1943 Oberbefehlshaber der Heeresgruppe B und seit November 1943 verantwortlich für die Verteidigungsmaßnahmen am Atlantikwall, besuchte seine Familie so oft wie möglich in Herrlingen. Nach schwerer Verwundung durch Tiefflieger am 14. Juli 1944 verbrachte Rommel die Genesungszeit ebenfalls zu Hause in Herrlingen, wo er am 14. Oktober 1944 den Besuch der Generale Burgdorf und Maisel erhielt, die ihn wegen seiner angeblichen Beteiligung am Widerstand gegen Hitler vor die Wahl stellten, sich entweder mit Zyankali selbst zu töten oder sich vor dem Volksgerichtshof zu verantworten.Provenienz: Dazu eine Bestätigung über den Erwerb des Schreibtischs sowie des Papierkorbs von der Witwe Lucie Rommel im Jahr 1955 im Zuge einer Weiterveräußerung der beiden Gegenstände im Jahr 1963 an einen Rechtsanwalt. Außerdem eine Schenkungserklärung der Witwe des Rechtsanwalts an die Familie des heutigen Besitzers aus dem Jahr 2002. Table top (dimensions 157 x 86 x 4 cm) covered with light brown leather and decorated with continuous brass rivets. Two lateral wooden boxes (dimensions 77 x 43 x 75 cm) with rounded corners, lockable doors, tinted copper fittings and large iron keys, on the left three extendable inner drawers, on the right false bottom, above it on each side a drawer (keys missing) and an extendable writing surface or storage tray. Between the boxes is a large drawer, the key is missing. Overall height 81 cm. Can be disassembled into table top, the two lateral boxes and the centre drawer. Comes with a waste paper basket of red-brown leather (dimensions 41 x 26 cm) embossed with décor and monogram "DR". Leather writing case and leather-bound notepad with identical embossed monogram. Wooden utensil box, the lid veneered with root wood, leather desk pad with inlaid blotting paper, wooden ink blotter and a pair of wooden bookends. In October 1943, the Rommel family moved from Neustadt/Vienna to Herrlingen and initially lived in a villa known as Haus Breitenfels or Martin Buber Haus, which accommodated the (tr.) "Jewish country hostel Herrlingen" directed by Hugo Rosenthal until 1939. Erwin Rommel, Commander-in-Chief of Army Group B since July 1943 and responsible for defensive actions at the Atlantic Wall since November 1943, visited his family in Herrlingen as often as possible. After having been seriously wounded by low-flying aircraft on 14 July 1944, Rommel also spent his recovery period at home in Herrlingen, where he was visited by Generals Burgdorf and Maisel on 14 October 1944, who, in consequence of his alleged participation in the resistance against Hitler, faced him with the choice of either killing himself with potassium cyanide or standing trial before the People’s Court of Justice.Provenance: Comes with a confirmation on the acquisition of the writing desk and the waste paper basket from his widow Lucie Rommel in 1955 in connection with the resale of both objects in 1963 to a lawyer. Also a deed of donation issued by the lawyer’s widow to the family of the present owner in 2002. Kapitänleutnant Helmut Möhlmann – Meißen-Ehrenteller des Traditionsverbandes U-BooteZur Verleihung des Ritterkreuzes des Eisernen Kreuzes am 16.4.1943. Glasiertes weißes Porzellan mit blauem Dekor. Im Spiegel U-Bootansicht über goldener Namensinschrift, umgeben von einem Lorbeerkranz, darauf der Orden Pour le Mérite, die U-Boots-Kriegsabzeichen 1918 und 1939 sowie ein Ritterkreuz des EK mit Eichenlaub. Im Boden unterglasierte blaue Schwertermarke der Manufaktur Meißen in Sachsen sowie Pressnummer "N117" und "135"(?), Durchmesser ca. 25,5 cm, rückseitiger Aufhänger aus Metalldraht. Minimale Altersspuren, keine Beschädigungen erkennbar. Selten! Dazu einige neuzeitliche Fotografien des U-Bootskommandanten, gerahmt, zwei farbige Holzwappen, dabei Torpedoboot "Luchs", Mützenband "Kriegsmarine" und zwei Teller Nachkrieg. Helmut Möhlmann trat im April 1933 der Reichsmarine bei. Später verrichtete er Dienst auf dem leichten Kreuzer "Nürnberg" und absolvierte bei Kriegsbeginn einige Feindfahrten auf dem Torpedo-Boot "Luchs". Im April 1940 kam er zur U-Boot-Waffe, wurde für drei Monate auf das Schul-Boot "U-143" und auf "U-52" kommandiert, bevor er im Mai 1941 Kommandant von "U-571" wurde. Mit diesem Boot absolvierte er acht Feindfahrten im Nordatlantik. Im Mai 1943 verließ er das Boot, um einen Lehrgang an der Marine-Akademie in Berlin zu besuchen. Von September 1943 bis Dezember 1944 arbeitete er im Organisationsstab des B.d.U. Bis Ende des Krieges übernahm er dann das Kommando über die 14. U-Flottille in Narvik/Norwegen. In der Bundesmarine war er Fregattenkapitän bis zu seiner Pensionierung am 31. White glazed porcelain with blue décor. The centre with a depiction of a U-boat above his name inscribed in gold, surrounded by a laurel wreath, above which the Pour le Mérite, the U-Boat War Badge 1918 and 1939, and a Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The underglaze blue crossed swords mark of Manufaktur Meissen in Saxony stamped in the base, along with the pressed number "N117" and "135"(?), diameter approx. 25.5 cm, a metal wire hook on the back. Minimal signs of age, no obvious damage. Rare. Also comes with several modern photographs of the U-boat commander, framed, two wooden crests in colour, including the "Luchs" torpedo boat, a "Kriegsmarine" cap ribbon and two post-war plates. Helmut Möhlmann enlisted in the Reichsmarine in April 1933. He later served on the light cruiser "Nürnberg" and carried out several patrols in enemy waters on the torpedo boat "Luchs" at the beginning of the war. In April 1940, he joined the U-boat force, was assigned to the training boat "U-143" for three months and to "U-52", before being appointed commander of "U-571" in May 1941. With this boat he completed eight patrols in the enemy waters of the North Atlantic. In May 1943, he left the boat to attend a training course at the Imperial Naval Academy in Berlin. From September 1943 to December 1944, he belonged to the organisation staff of the Association. He subsequently assumed command of the 14th U-boat flotilla in Narvik/Norway until the end of the war. SS-Untersturmführer Fritz Düsel - Nahkampfspange in Gold und weitere Auszeichnungen Nahkampfspange in Gold, die sog. Häkchenspange aus feuervergoldeter Bronze mit polierten Details. Rückseitig mit einem in einen vertieften Kreis eingelassenen Nadelhäkchen (2. Modell), bauchige polierte Horizontalnadel, ein azentrisch vernietetes, geschwärztes Plättchen und das zusätzliche Tragehäkchen auf der Rückseite des Adlerkopfes. "Textbook"-Exemplar der Firma C. E. Juncker, Berlin. Breite 96,2 mm. Gewicht 34,2 g. Die wenigsten Soldaten erreichten die zur Verleihung der Goldstufe notwendigen 50 Nahkampftage. Hitler hatte sich deshalb ab März 1944 die Aushändigung dieser "höchsten infanteristischen Auszeichnung" selbst vorbehalten und verlieh bis Ende September die 100 bei Juncker speziell angefertigte Spangen. Die Spangen des 2. Modells wurden von Oktober 1944 bis März 1945 bei drei Terminen durch Heinrich Himmler als Chef des Ersatzheeres in Vertretung Hitlers und am 10. März 1945 in 119 Exemplaren durch Generaloberst Guderian ausgehändigt. Dazu eine Farbkopie (wurde ausgetauscht) des Besitzzeugnisses und die originalen, stark beschädigten Einlageblätter über 61 Nahkampftage, beginnend am 2.07.42 in Kraslawa bis zum 18.07.44 in Kiesbaskie. Dazu Deutsches Kreuz in Gold in leichter Ausführung von Godet (punziert "21") mit Besitzzeugnis vom 16.01.44, EK 1 und 2 mit Urkunden vom 27.03.42 bzw. 10.07.41, Nahkampfspange in Silber ohne Plättchen mit Urkunde vom 10.10.43, Nahkampfspange in Bronze mit Urkunde vom 9.10.43, ISA in Bronze mit Besitzzeugnis vom 20.07.41, Demjanskschild (ohne Splinte und Platte) mit Urkunde vom 31.12.43, VWA in Schwarz, Silber und Gold mit den Besitzzeugnissen vom 16.06.42, 8.04.43 bzw. 5.09.44. Außerdem zwei Ostmedaillen mit Urkunde vom 14.07.42, Bestallung zum Standartenoberjunker d.R. 30.09.44, Verpflichtungsschein, SS-Führerschein sowie ein Ordner mit weiteren Papieren und persönlichen Aufzeichnungen. Die Urkunden teils mit interessanten Unterschriften und jeweils gefaltet. Einige der Auszeichnungen wie das EK 1, die Nahkampfspangen und das ISA wurden lange in vorderster Front getragen und mehrfach repariert. Des Weiteren Tagungsabzeichen der HJ und Nachkriegsabzeichen (Ulrichsberg usw.), Erkennungsmarke "12./SS-T.I.R. 1", ein Paar Schulterstücke für einen Oberleutnant der Pioniere und ein kleines Portraitfoto. Der Nachlass stammt aus der Familie, die Orden des Vaters bieten wir in einem anderen Los an. The reverse with pin hook inset in a circular dent (2nd model), domed, polished horizontal pin, small blackened plate riveted off-centre, and additional suspension hook on the reverse of the eagle’s head. "Textbook" item by the company C. E. Juncker, Berlin. Width 96.2 mm. Weight 34.2 g. Only very few soldiers accomplished the 50 days of close combat required for the award of the gold issue. Therefore, Hitler reserved for himself the right to award this (tr.) "highest infantry distinction" as of March 1944 and awarded the 100 clasps specially manufactured by Juncker until the end of September. The clasps of the 2nd model were bestowed by Heinrich Himmler as commander of the reserve army on behalf of Hitler in three ceremonies between October 1944 and March 1945, a further 119 clasps were awarded by Colonel General Guderian on 10 March 1945. The documents folded and partly with interesting signatures. Some awards, such as the Iron Cross 1, the Close Combat Clasps and the Infantry Assault Badge were worn on the front line for a long time and repeatedly repaired. Furthermore, conference badges of the Hitler Youth and post-war awards (Ulrichsberg etc.), identification tag "12./SS-T.I.R. 1", a pair of shoulder boards for a 1st lieutenant of the pioneer troops and a small portrait photograph. NSDAP-Standarte der SA Bodensee "Deutschland Erwache", mit TragetascheDie Standarte besteht aus dem Adler, der Standartenspitze, der Standartenstange, zwei länglichen Kordeln an den Seiten, dem Standartentuch und einer Schutzhülle für die Standartenspitze. Die Standartenspitze in versilberter und vergoldeter Ausführung, das verlötete Hakenkreuz vergoldet und im Zentrum schwarz lackiert. Die Tülle mit dem vorderseitigen Stiftungsdatum "1923" und der rückseitigen Herstellerbezeichnung "Otto Gahr" sowie zwei Befestigungslöchern. Die Versilberung bzw. Vergoldung altersbedingt teils angelaufen und berieben. Dazu die extrem seltene Schutztasche in grünlichem Segeltuch mit innenliegenden, hellen Lederstücken. Am Leder gemarkt mit einem runden RZM-Stempel, L2/1639/39.Die darunter angebrachte Box aus versilbertem Aluminiumblech mit dem Namen der Standarte „Bodensee". Die Vorderseite der Box mit erhabener Bezeichnung „Bodensee", die Rückseite mit „NSDAP", beidseitig mit dem noch gut erhaltenen roten Originallack. Metallener Querbalken innseitig gemarkt "13".Das Standartentuch mit einem dreiseitigen, schwarz-weiß-roten Fransenbehang und oberseitiger Tasche zur Aufnahme der Befestigungsstange, das Tuch mit den Maßen 68 x 59 cm. Mittig am Tuch der sehr seltene Lederschutz, um das Tuch vor Abreibungen an der Stange zu schützen. Beidseitig mit einer weißen Scheibe mit liegendem schwarzen Hakenkreuz, jeweils mit Silberlitzen, abgesetzt. Vorderseitig mit weiß gesticktem Schriftzug "Deutschland Erwache", auf der Rückseite "Nat. Soz. Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" und "Sturmabteilung". Komplett mit den beidseitigen schwarz-weiß-roten Quasten aus Wolle, deren Band gekordelt.Die Standartenstange aus Holz zweiteilig, an den mittigen Bronzebeschlägen abschraubbar. Die Standarte hat eine Höhe von 2,26 m und wiegt 6,5 Kilo.Extrem selten und einzigartig in dieser Komplettheit und Erhaltung!Provenienz: Unseres Wissens nach die einzige zusammengehörige SA-Standarte mit dokumentierter Provenienz bis zurück zu ihrer Erbeutung durch die 2. Division Blindée unter General Leclerc am 26. April 1945 im Braunen Haus in Konstanz. Kurz bevor die französische Armee nach Berchtesgaden kam, konnte General Leclerc die Bodenseeregion besetzen. Angekommen in Konstanz, fand ein französischer Offizier der 2. französischen Division, der Gruppe Lebel, im dortigen Braunen Haus dieses Stück. Die SA-Standarte Bodensee war in alphabetischer Order die 17. SA-Standarte, die Hitler während des Reichsparteitags 1934 in Nürnberg in einer feierlichen Zeremonie weihte. Die Standarte wurde als Geschenk an einen französischen Professor der Pharmazie, vermutlich an Monsieur Georges Dillmann, übergeben (siehe hierzu die Großbuchstaben "GD" auf der Metallbox). Im Jahre 1971 kaufte der französische Sammler André Boulanger die Standarte und behielt sie fast 30 Jahre lang in seiner Sammlung. Im Jahre 2005 schließlich erwarb das Museum "Dezember 1944" in La Gleize, Belgien, die Standarte von Boulanger. The silver and gold plating tarnished and abraded in places due to age. Including the extremely rare protective cover in greenish canvas, containing light-coloured leather pieces. The leather marked with a circular RZM stamp, L2/1639/39.The box fixed underneath made of silver-plated sheet aluminium, inscribed "Bodensee", the name of the standard. The front of the box with the embossed designation "Bodensee" and "NSDAP" on the back, the original red lacquer still in good condition on both sides. The housing screwed together by means of a screw in the letter "E" of "Bodensee" and correctly on the back in "NSDAP" in the upper section of the letter "D". Dimensions of the housing 40 x 11.5 x 7 cm. The interior of the parallele piped is marked of the no. "13".The standard cloth with a black, white and red fringe on three sides and a pocket at the top to accommodate the mounting pole, the cloth measuring 68 x 59 cm. The extremely rare leather cover in the centre of the standard to protect the cloth from rubbing on the pole. Both sides offset with a white disc and a horizontal black swastika, trimmed with silver braid in each case. The front bearing the inscription "Deutschland Erwache" in white embroidery, the back reads "Nat. Soz. Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" and "Sturmabteilung". Comes complete with the black, white and red woollen tassels on both sides, the ties twisted together. The wooden standard pole made of two pieces and can be unscrewed at the central bronze fittings. The standard is 2.26 m tall and weighs 6.5 kilos. Extremely rare in terms of its completeness and condition.Provenance: To our knowledge, this is the only associated SA standard whose provenance is documented all the way back to its capture by the 2nd Division Blindée under General Leclerc on 26 April 1945 in the Brown House in Constance.On 26 April 1945, General Leclerc managed to occupy the Lake Constance region shortly before the French army came to Berchtesgaden. On arrival in Constance, a French officer of the 2nd French Division, the Lebel group, discovered this piece in the local Brown House. In alphabetical order, the SA standard Bodensee was the 17th SA standard to be blessed by Hitler in a solemn ceremony during the 1934 Reich Party Rally in Nuremberg. The standard was presented as a gift to a French pharmacy professor, probably Monsieur Georges Dillmann (see also the capital letters "GD" on the metal box). The French collector Andre Boulanger acquired the standard in 1971, keeping it in his collection for almost 30 years. Finally, the "Dezember 1944" museum in La Gleize, Belgium, purchased the standard from Boulanger in 2005. Politur: Sehr gut, Symmetrie: sehr gut. Lasergravur GIA 5211076378.Chamäleon Diamanten gehören mit Abstand zu den seltensten Variationen der ohnehin schon raren fancy colour Diamanten. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Diamanten können diese nämlich kurzzeitig ihre Farbe verändern, wenn sie hohen Temperaturen oder veränderten Lichtverhältnissen ausgesetzt sind. Dieser Farbwechsel Effekt wurde der Geschichte nach zum ersten Mal 1943 dokumentiert, als eine Kundin einen Diamanten reklamierte, den Sie bei Peter Kaplan kaufte. Die Dame kaufte einen hellgrünen Diamanten und bemerkte, dass der Stein dunkelgrün wird, wenn er über längere Zeit in der Schmuckschatulle lag. Sie gab den Stein zurück, ohne zu wissen, dass Sie eine absolute Rarität besaß, die ein Vielfaches des Preises wert war, den Sie dafür zahlte. Obwohl dieser Farbwechsel-Effekt nun einige Zeit bekannt ist, bleibt es ein Mysterium, warum manche Diamanten dies tun. Die Wissenschaft konnte seit 1943 verschiedene Theorien formulieren, aber noch keine konnte die Ursache ausreichend fundiert belegen. Finish: very good, symmetry: very good. Laser-gravure GIA 5211076378.Chamaleon diamonds are by far the most rare variation of the already rare fancy colour diamonds. In contrast to the other diamonds these diamonds can change colour temporarily if they are exposed to high temperatures or a change in light. According to history, this changing colour effect was documented in 1943 for the first time when a customer made a complaint about the diamond which she bought from Peter Kaplan. She bought the diamond in a light green but noticed that it turned dark green if it laid in her jewellery casket for a longer period of time. She returned the jewel without knowing that she possessed an absolute rarity which was worth multiple times of the original price.Although this colour changing effect is now known for some time, it remains a mystery why some diamonds do this. Scientists were able to find several theories since 1943 but none of these could prove the cause sufficiently.
