SKULL POISON. (DP pg 20) 2.75ins tall, blue glass heavily moulded as a skull standing on a crossed bones under the base base. Embossed POISON across the forehead. PAT/ JUNE/ 28th/ 1894. Embossed to base between the bones. A little overall minor wear to some raised parts & scuff to rear. An extremely difficult to see (possible inmanufacture) ‘flaw’ in the neck (you need to get it at an angle to notice this). An unusual light colour, plus very rare with base embossed. (8/10)

After David Roberts RA (1796-1864) ''Approach to the fortress at Ibrim''; ''The Rock of the Chain and Asouan'' and ''Asouan and Island of Elephantine'', coloured lithographs, published 1847, 1847 and 1848 respectively, 34cm by 39cm, 36cm by 52cm and 35cm by 54.5cm respectively (3) Provenance: Mathaf Gallery, London Nos 81,87 and 98 ''Rock of the Chain'' - Some fading and slight discolouration to the paper, although the impression is still strong. Slight foxing marks throughout with one or two storm flies trapped between the mount and the galss. Surface dirt with markings in places, overall condition is reasonable. ''Asouan & Island of Elephantine'' - Some fading and discolouration to the paper, although the colours are still strong. Faint foxing marks throughout with a large foxing mark beside the mount upper centre - some light surface dirt. ''Approach to the Fortress'' - Some fading and discolouration to the paper with notable foxing marks particularly in the lower right hand corner. Pin marks to the centre of the image. Foxing marks upper centre with marking from previous restoration above the mast of the felucca. Not examined out of the frame. In our opinion these are not first edition lithographs and are coloured lithographs, not hand coloured.
A Victorian burr walnut and ebonised inlaid writing cabinet, with gilt metal gallery above two panelled doors enclosing stationary pigeon holes and drawers, above pull out leather tooled writing compartment and panelled door enclosing shelved interior, raised on plinth base, 112cm high x 54cm wide x 41cm deep CONDITION REPORT: Lot 528 - small scratches and nicks from use, especially to ebonised banding, biro scribbles to inside cupboard doors, lock area on left door is slightly damaged/re-glued, light stains to interior pigeon holes, light abrasions to navy skiver, small chips to walnut veneer, scratches to interior door where shelves rest against cupboard door, colour fading, couple of water marks, key present for top doors but doesn't appear to lock bottom doors, top door don't meet in middle, looks to be a strip of ebony lacking, large crack to back panel
A pair of Art Deco pale oak single beds, the larger end having reading light with on/off switch, with irons, 122cm high x 92cm wide x 200cm long (2) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 471 - minor chips to wood on ends, minor colour fading, surface marks, small pieces of veneer lacking to ends. Mattress size would be 190 x 91cm (bed iron measurements).
An 18ct gold diamond ring, the nine brilliant cut diamonds set in diamond formation, approx. 0.20ct in total, stamped 18ct, ring size L, 1.7g CONDITION REPORT: Lot 3 - in good condition, light scratches allover from use, minor misshape to one area around diamond but difficult to detect without eye glass
A Victorian turquoise and seed pearl crescent brooch, graduated round cut turquoise with an inner band of seed pearls, measures 3cm in diameter The brooch is in good condition. There is some very light discolouration to the turquoise. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. It fastens with a pin and c-hook. Gross weight 6.8 grams. Condition Report made 26th July 2017.
