Photograph by Irwin Horowitz. Advertising poster created by Andy Warhol to promote the RCA colour scanner. Warhol (1928-1987) transformed a live pig into a piggy bank decorated with flowers, printed in brilliant colours and detail. Light scuffing along edges, with a 2 cm tear on center right margin. Generally in bright and fine condition.

Munich, Heiner Friedrich, 1969. Softcover, 21 x 14.5 cm, 104 pp. A collection of writings by and about composer La Monte Young. Includes several pages of Zazeela's hallucinatory calligraphy, a poem by Young for Diane Wasoski, as well as essays, lectures and interviews by the artists on their work. One of the 98 books that were signed, dated (Munich 7 Aug. 1969) and numbered 23/98 by Young and Zazeela. Printed in West Germany by a patron of Young and Zazeela. Rare document in mint condition. Young was a forerunner of the Fluxus movement and is widely regarded as the first Minimalist composer; Zazeela began as psychedelic painter and became one of the first artists working with light. Their collaborative performance group, The Theatre of Eternal Music, and their Dream House sound and light-environments are discussed at length in this volume.

London, Indica Gallery, 1966. Original covers featuring b/w photos of the artist performing the event 'Hide Mouth'. Stapled softcover, 28 x 14.5 cm, 24 pp. with 8 photo plates by Iain Macmillan on perforated leaves with adhesive backing to be torn out and pasted to their corresponding place in the catalogue (6 contained in this copy). Edited by Ono on occasion of her first exhibition. The booklet is ingeniously designed into a separate upper and lower section. The upper section is meant to tip in the reproductions of the exhibited objects. The lower section presents catalogue texts and event scores by Yoko Ono. This is the original publication, holding 18 of the 24 images to be tipped in. Due to water vapour these pages were stuck together and were professionally separated by a paper restorer. For this reason the images are no longer gum-backed. The pages have been unhinged and are laid loosely into the publication. The 18 images present in this copy comprise: Draw Circle Painting / Add Color Painting + Kitchen Piece / Ceiling Painting / Mend Painting / Draw Circle Object / YOU + ME / Apple / Pointedness / Forget It / Water Piece / Parts of Light House / Balance Piece / Cleaning Piece / Chess Set (Play It By Trust) / Mend Painting / Temporary Cabinett / Object in Three Parts / Eternal Time / Ceiling Painting. The catalogue has slight water damage on lower pages, else in fine shape with traces of use. Extremely rare item. *The exhibition marks Ono's first encounter with John Lennon. During the installation of the show he mistakenly ate an apple that had been one of the exhibits (titled 04 Apple 1966 in the catalogue).

Poster, 59 x 42 cm, offset printed b/w both sides, folded twice, with punched holes for filing. Very good copy. (2) Concept contract voor de verkoop van kunstwerken. Staple bound, 8 pp. with introduction in Dutch and contract in English. The booklet was loosely inserted in Museumjournaal 16.4, December 1971, not mentioned in its contents. Light toning to edges, else very good. (total 2) The Artist's Contract was drafted by curator, dealer, and publisher of conceptual art Seth Siegelaub, and lawyer Robert Projansky as a means to 'remedy some generally acknowledged inequities in the art world, particularly artists lack of control over their work and participation in its economy after they no longer own it'. It was translated into French, German, Dutch and Italian in the early 1970s and widely distributed through inclusion in a.o. international art magazines and the Documenta 5 catalogue.

Self-published, Los Angeles, 1970. Softcover, 19 x 19 cm, 48 pp. Edition size unknown. Fall contains two photographic sequences, composed of 11 images each, from the artists' films 'Fall 1, Los Angeles', and 'Fall 2, Amsterdam'. The former begins with Ader seated in a straight-backed chair on the roof of his house and the latter sees the artist cycling into the canal in one of his most recognizable actions. Extremely rare artists publication by the legendary Ader (1942-1975) who mysteriously disappeared while crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a small boat in 1975. Cover with very light wear, otherwise in supreme condition.

Contains a folded linen table runner, which unfolds to 400 x 16 cm, with silkscreened text by Johannes Cladder in German, as well as a booklet, 20.5 x 16.5 cm, 12 pp. with colophon and an interview (by André with André), all printed in the artists' facsimile handwriting. Numbered edition of 660, this one numbered 624. This box is part of the famous series of cassette catalogues produced by The Städtisches Museum Mönchengladbach. Cardboard box shows light soiling and creases, the plastic lid has some tearing along the corners (as usual with this item), pristine booklet with some loose pages, cloth in mint condition.

The scrolls feature an introduction and essay on Gertrude Stein's poem by Cladders; an ill. checklist of 131 exhibited works; an advertisement for John's lightbulb works. Cardboard box with light water spot on front, corners of the box are loose as the glue has dried. Fine copy of this delightful edition in the famous Mönchengladbach boxed catalogue series.

Reykjavik/Amsterdam, Silver Press, 1972. Exquisite and extremely rare book object, signed and numbered by the artist. Softcover, 26.4 x 27.2 x 2.2 cm. Offset printed in a limited edition of 150 signed and numbered copies, this one numbered 17/150, hand bound by the artist. The book was self-published by Gudmundsson's Silver Press. As the production was very time consuming, probably no more than 30- 50 copies were made (ref: Kees van Gelder, Amsterdam). In 1982 Ottenhausen Verlag in Aachen and Munich published a follow up limited edition of 100 copies. The immense artists' book (more than 600 pp.) features full page drawings of multiple horizontal lines throughout. The length of all lines added up together indicate the distance between the highest point on earth and the lowest point in the sea. Light corners bumps, generally a very good copy.

The months are illustrated with images of fishing and fish preparing tools, drawings made by a local fisherman, sketches and reproductions of works by Giezen. Contains 54 original tipped-in b/w photographs made by Truus Nienhuis, intimately depicting the home of Zero artist Jan Schoonhoven and documenting his journeys through the streets of his hometown Delft, while hunting for objects of interest. Captions written by Schoonhoven and Nienhuis. Introduction by Nienhuis, co-written with her husband Henk Peeters, Schoonhoven's longtime friend and Zero colleague. Light spotting on cover, interior in good condition. Exquisite large format artists' collaboration with a personal touch.
