(F) MOROCCO AGENCIES - 1936 French currency, KEVIII 5c on ¼d green, lower marginal vert strip of 3, top stamp with var bar though "POSTAGE" (SG 227a), this var occurred on R18/10-12 on just eight sheets, therefore only 24 examples existed, of these only 12 showed the complete bar (of which this is one) with the remainder being partial impressions, all sheets which included this var were from stocks that had been sent to Morocco and show light even gum toning, u/m, a King Edward VIII rarity with 1988 RPS cert, accompanied by a copy of a 1936 article in Gibbons Stamp Monthly regarding the discovery of this variety" (SG 227/27a)
NEW ZEALAND - 1857-63 6d brown (SG 13) with close to large margins all round and neatly tied by numeral `7` cancellation of Wellington to envelope dated 1860 (Oct 5) addressed to London, despatch datestamp on reverse, red London arrival cds of Dec 19 1860 on front, the envelope a little stained at places and with light overall toning, nevertheless attractive (SG 13)

CAPE OF GOOD HOPE - 1863-64 Selection of Cape triangular, comprising 1d and 4d four each, another square pair of the 4d and single 1s bright emerald-green, all with three margins and generally lightly used, the 1s showing part of adjoining stamp at left and light red ink marks on face, a useful group with some distinctive shades and better than `average` condition (SG 18)
TANGANYIKA - 1930 December 24 "Tanga to Dar-Es-Salaam experimental flight", `Cota` cover franked with 1s green (SG 83a) tied by `TANGA/ REGISTERED` cds, and blue on white registration label at top left, with Camp Post office Dar-Es-Salaam cds dated December 26 on reverse, odd light tone but one of only 50 registered items carried on this flight" (SG GIRAFFE)

QV SURFACE PRINTED - 1867-83 Watermark Anchor on white paper £5 orange lettered BH (SG 137) very lightly hinged (if at all), well centred, light natural vertical gum bend, small tone spot on `U` of `POUNDS` and one shortish perf at left otherwise fine and fresh with good colour, a rare stamp, cat £14,000 (SG 137)
(F) BOOKLETS - 1917 2s booklet with black on orange cover (SG BB10) edition 69, the cover with slight creasing and loss of glazing (giving a patchy appearance) has adverts for `Harmers` and `Swan`, the panes complete but with some light toning, also the covers only for two 3s KGV booklets, cat £1,250 (SG BB10)
QEII ERRORS & VARS - 2007 Abolition of the Slave Trade (1st) error `Gold (value and detail on Queen`s head) and phosphor omitted` (SG 2728ab) three se-tenant pairs in a lower right traffic light and date block of six, fine u/m, a unique multiple with Pierron recording circa twelve mint pairs, cat £10,200+ (SG 2728ab)
CHINA - 1882 `Large Dragons` thin paper, 4¼mm spacing, small selection on album page, most have cliches identified by vendor incl 1ca green (cliche 8), large part o.g. (tone spot visible from face), another (cliche 9), this light creasing and a few short perfs, 1ca deep green (cliche 4) used by part Tientsin seal, 3ca vermilion fine used by corner customs cds and 5ca yellow-ochre (cliche 25) used by light negative seal, this crudely reperforated at foot (5)

THURN & TAXIS - Northern District: 1865 Rouletted 1/3sgr green (SG 32) two examples (just touched at foot of one to roulettes all round), affixing a (part) address label to larger piece (newspaper?), both tied by light Hamburg cds with another strike below, a scarce and attractive piece (SG 32)
