(3). * R&B: Very good condition, with very few signs of use. Complete with padlock and key. - Bruno Rossi: Good, used condition. Some surface scratching to attached keyring. - DollarGrand: VGC. A few light surface scratches to exterior leather.

Light wear and a few small marks to suede interior. The coloured suede has left some colour on the exterior leather under the front flap. There is also a small blue biro mark to this area under the flap.

A pair of Chinese bronze 'Elephant' vases, Qing Dynasty, the high globular body with a lipped waisted neck and everted rim, the shoulders set with twin elephant heads, supported on three equally spaced elephant head feet, around six character Qianlong mark to the base, 8 ½in. (21.5cm.) high. (2) * Polished bronze patina, light surface wear, little nibbles and natural imperfections, good.

A Chinese famille verte lotus vase, probably early 20th century, ovoid form, painted with lotus flowers and scrolling green foliage on a pale aubergine ground, within lappet borders, 16¼in. (41.5cm.) high. * Light glaze crazing to base and rim and some pooling of glaze inside rim. Otherwise in good condition with no other faults.

Three Japanese woodblock prints, 19th / early 20th century, comprising 'Kumasaka (The Robber)' by Tsukioka Kogyo (1869-1927), from the series Nogakuzue, 8 x 12in. (20.25 x 30.5cm.); a portrait of a warrior by Toshusai Sharaku, 15 ¼ x 10 ¼in. (38.75 x 26cm.); another smaller; and a print of a kingfisher by Kono Bairei, three framed. (4) * - Kogyo: Foxing to lower right corner and two large fox marks to lower right of figure. Some other surface dirt and light fox marks. Some iron red staining to the white rings on the lower edge of the warrior's robe, presumably caused by reaction with the gilt & silver paint used in printing. Not examined out of frame. - Sharaku: Print is mounted but unframed. Colours faded. Tear to top centre. Losses from margins at top and lower right of sheet. Some light foxing and rubbing to surface of silver background. - Small print of warriors seated inside a tent: Colours a little mouted. Several pin holes to margins and old tape adhesive marks to back of sheet to margins. - Bairei: Sheet toned and some mount burn. Not examined out of frame.

A matched pair of Japanese boxwood okimonos / scroll holders of monkeys, early 20th century, each depicting a monkey & it's young, each with bone disc to back, sat atop a polished bone column engraved with monkeys by a pond, the bone column with pull off base revealing a cylindrical tube for storage, signed to base, the tallest, 8 ¾in. (22.3cm.) high. (2) * Tubes stiff to open, light wear, overall good.

William John Caparne (British, 1855-1940), South coast sunsets, Guernsey two pastels, both unsigned 8½ x 11in. (21.6 x 27.9cm.); 8 5/8 x 10½in. (21.9 x 26.7cm.) * The pastel in the grey mount with some mould spotting to surface at upper left and some foxing. There is a small patch of gum Arabic or similar at lower centre margin. The pastel in the ivory mount has a small oil mark at upper right and light abrasions to the surface at right margin.

(30.5 x 24.75cm.). * Light indent to centre left of canvas. The varnish has broken down and with heavy craquelure to lower right in dark paint in trees, and some lighter craquelure viisble across the surface elsewhere. Surface a little dirty. Frame with minor losses.

(76.25cm.) high overall, one arm a/f. (2) * One arm has been broken near the centre and has had an attempted repair with glue. This needs cleaning off and a better repair carried out. Otherwise good with just some light gilt wear and tarnishing in places.
