It is noted that there is a very small hole in the yellow metal at the lower right corner, and another smaller pinhole in the case (lower left section, on the join line between the left white stripe and adjacent middle yellow stripe) but these should both be repairable. A LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY EMERALD AND DIAMOND BROOCH, a round cabochon emerald within a stylised scrolling frame, set throughout with rose-cut and single-cut diamonds. Measures 3.6cm in diameter CONDITION REPORTLight general wear, area of repair to the setting of one of the larger rose-cut diamonds, the diamonds are in closed settings with the backing discoloured giving a grey/brown colouration. The diamonds are generally roughly cut. It fastens with a pin and c-hook which is later applied though still in the antique. The emerald measures 6.70mm in diameter approximately. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as silver.
A MID 19TH CENTURY BROOCH AND EARRINGS SUITE, the brooch set with graduated oval-cut pale blue stones within a lozenge shaped frame of textured leaves, suspending chain swags and a stone set pendant drop, and the matching pendant earrings, with hook fittings. (2) Brooch measures 5.8cm by 4.5cm, earring length 5.2cm, 12.6 grams grossCONDITION REPORTThe fluted back to one of the earrings with some wear and possible repair, otherwise good overall condition with light wear. The closed settings of the stones prevents thorough gemmological testing but appear to be a combination of aquamarine and topaz. The brooch fastens with a pin and c-hook. They are not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold.
A GROUP OF VICTORIAN BANDED AGATE JEWELLERY, comprising: A NECKLACE OF SLIGHTLY GRADUATED BEADS, length 61.5cm; ANOTHER BEAD NECKLACE, length 43.5cm; A BRACELET, of graduated oval links, length 19cm; A RING, ring size N1/2; and A STICK PIN, with a glazed locket back. (5)CONDITION REPORTThe larger bead necklace is loosely strung to black cotton and restringing is recommended, the beads range in size from 13.5-18.70mm approximately. The smaller bead necklace has one bead with large reglued chip, a couple of other beads with some minor chips. Both necklaces fasten with tongue and concealed box clasps. The largest link to the bracelet measures 3cm x 2.5cm, there is light general wear, is fastens with a tongue and concealed box clasp, with safety chain. Agate to all pieces with light general wear. No pieces are hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold.

Measures 3.2cm by 3cm (excluding bail),14.0 gramsCONDITION REPORTSome abrasion to the garnets and light surface wear to the metal. Suspended from a keyring-type bail (excluded from measurements). It is marked with French assay marks and in our opinion would test as gold and silver.
A VICTORIAN SHELL CAMEO AND HAIRWORK BROOCH, carved depicting the bust of Ceres, the reverse with a panel of tightly woven hair behind glass, within a fancy scroll frame. Measures 6.5cm by 5.5cmCONDITION REPORTGood overall condition with some light wear to the frame and some slight fraying to the edge of the hairwork panel. The centre can be turned to display either the cameo or the hairwork, however, it is not easy to fasten the clasp with the cameo to the reverse and forcing it may damage the cameo. It fastens with a pin and c-hook.
A VICTORIAN SPLIT PEARL CLOVER BROOCH, a split pearl in a high claw setting to the centre of a naturalistic clover, with two glazed lockets verso. AN AMETHYST AND SEED PEARL BROOCH, an oval-cut amethyst within a lozenge-shaped frame set with seed pearls, measures 2.5cm by 3cm, on a later chain necklace as a pendant, 7.8 grams gross; together with A 9 CARAT GOLD CULTURED PEARL BROOCH, cultured pearls spaced by heart-shaped links, hallmarked Birmingham 1987, measures 3cm in diameter, 4.0 grams. Measures 2.5cm by 3.8cm, 10.68 gramsCONDITION REPORTThe brooch is in good condition with light surface wear, the stones are well matched. It fastens with a double pin and later safety catch. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour: H/I, clarity: SI1/SI2. It has French assay marks and in our opinion would test as gold.
