Boxing Nino Benvenuti 10x8 signed b/w photo. A retired Italian boxer and actor. As an amateur welterweight boxer he won the Italian title in 1956–60, the European title in 1957 and 1959, and an Olympic gold medal in 1960, receiving the Val Barker trophy for boxing style. In 1961, having an amateur record of 120 0, he turned professional and won world titles in the light middleweight division and twice in the middleweight division. Good Condition. The enamel dial is over all good condition with some accretions. The pocket watch winds but there is no sign of movement in either the seconds hand or the main hands so unable to state whether the watch is in working order. Some knocks to the edge of the outer casing. Diameter is approx. 4.5 cm. Weight approx. 91.6 g

Scratches and accretions on the enamel dial. Surface scratches, some scuffs and knocks to the silver case and some tarnishing. There are two areas of the outer casing that do not sit flush - there is a small gap between both sides of the outer case. An 18 carat gold cased full hunter pocket watch, the key less movement with repeat by J W Benson, the back plate inscribed "J W Benson 25 Old Bond Street London to HM The Queen and HRH The Prince of Wales by Special Warrants 21332", the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches and scuffs to the outer case. Some very light surface scratches to the glass, the enamel dial is clean and free of damage apart from a slight mark in the seconds section. The watch winds, the second hands move and the main hands move but unable to say whether in full working order. A Steiff wool plush lamb on wheels circa 1920 (button to left ear) CONDITION REPORTS Some discolouration, accretions and some stains to the fur same with the legs as well. There appears to be a small bit of fur missing at the top of its head. Fur could probably do with a clean. The metal wheels are tarnished with some light areas of rust. The gilt on the wheels is worn. Appears to be an area of loss to the stitching on the ear without the Steiff button. Item has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. Areas of discolouration, accretions also. Under UV light there are numerous areas of over painting mainly to the sky but also to the trees and building on the left hand side. There are numerous small scratches - the main one being on the desk where Charles Henry Newham and the Cardinal are seated. There are numerous flecks of white paint in areas. Under UV light there appear to be some areas of overpainting. Painting could do with a clean. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. Some areas of loss to the paint to the top on the sky. There is also a scratch in the bottom left hand corner and scuffs to the edge of the painting. Some small flecks of white paint present, accretions, etc. Under UV light there appear to be some areas of over-painting. Painting could do with a clean and has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. Painting does come with a frame although it is not housed in the frame at the moment. Heavy crazing throughout. There is a hole to the canvas to the left hand side of the creature. The painting is also slightly loose in the frame. Painting could do with a clean.
