R. cypher, Dublin Castle and engraved border, walnut stock with brass furniture including trigger guard engraved F G 14, fitted with a brass tipped ram rod.Barrel 23cm long, 40cm long overall.

A 19th Century 22ct gold and micromosaic hinged bangle of oval form with side hinges, the top decorated with a curved rectangular micromosaic panel after Guido Reni's fresco 'L'Aurora' depicting a procession with Apollo in his Celestial chariot preceded by Dawn (Aurora) bringing light to the world surrounded by supporters, the sides and reverse decorated with granulation and filigree wirework within a beaded border, circa 1850, depth 2.3cm. The apron with mother of pearl and tortoiseshell inlay, the pear shaped back of a brown colour with raised foliate carving, together with another plainly decorated of a light golden amber colour with mother of pearl and ebony inlay, both with use and wear, in double fitted case
