1911 Perf 15 x 14, ½d dull green, lower right corner marginal block of twelve showing "Major frame break" varieties from plate 64b, in positions R.18/10 and R.20/10. (SG 279var - Spec M4(1)h), very fine unused the top row hinged the others u/m, light wrinkles as to be expected on such a multiple. Ex. "Minoru".
GB Used Abroad - Buenos Ayres: 1873 July 13 envelope from Buenos Ayres to Dumfries, franked with a 1s Green plate 7 (SG117), neatly tied by a black Buenos Ayres type 12 "B32" numeral, with a double-arc BPO Buenos Ayres dispatch cds on reverse, carried by RMSP Co. Steamer "Neva" arriving at Southampton on the 15th July. Some light soiling and back flap removed nevertheless a scarce franking

Leigh-Parkin" in Singapore for onward forwarding to Cocos, franked with horizontal pairs of the Festival of Britain 2½d and 4d cancelled by a 'Festival' cancel, on the reverse the blue type written 'QUANTAS/SURVEY FLIGHT/CATALINA/VH-EBA/DARWIN-COCOS/VIA DJAKARTA' label, tied by C&W LTD COCOS cds dated 30 May 51, light bends and soling, the flap torn

Note the 'C.S. Recorder from Singapore came to repair broken cables
