The thin helmet body somewhat creased, the interior restored and reinforced, the lining renewed, with small defects and repairs on the exterior. Stamped cockade, silver star of the Order of St.Andrew with enameled medallion and Cyrillic maker's mark "N.B." as well as St.Petersburg fineness mark for "84 zolotniki" (1865-96). Light sweat leather with collection number "7", beige silkrep lining (small damage), golden Cyrillic monogram "P.R." under an Imperial Russian crown on the top. Extremely rare. Because of the monogram it could only have been the property of a member of the Russian high nobility. €5,000.00

Remnants of red paint on the edges. Affixed to it is the large crowned gilt monogram "AR" of the Saxon Elector and Polish King Friedrich August I., August the Strong (reigned 1694-1733, Polish King after 1697) surrounded by trophies.
