Raoul Larche (1860-1912), an Art Nouveau gilt-bronze figural table lamp of Loie Fuller c.1900, signed Raoul Larche, L243, Siot Decauville Fondeur Paris Modelled and cast as the celebrated dancer, her swirling skirts billowing above her and concealing the light bulb, electrical elements 32 cm high Provenance: Purchased Macklowe Gallery, New York, August 14th 1998 Note: Loie Fuller (1862-1928) was an American actress who moved to Europe in 1892 and made her home in Paris. Her 'Serpentine Dance' was created using her long voluminous silk skirts and coloured stage lighting and she choreographed her movements to great effect. Her Art, the dance, was almost a physical embodiment to the Art Nouveau Movement with its emphasis on sinuous and organic forms.Indentation and abrasion on her forearm. A few old marks and light natural wear. Some scratches on the inside where the fitments and light bulb fits in. Felt/card covering bottom.Electrical components have not been tested, and should be examined by a qualified electrician prior to any intended use. Re-wiring may/will be needed

Daum, a cameo glass bottle with flower form stopper c.1902, engraved Daum Nancy with Cross of Lorraine The bottle of rounded triangular form on a short circular foot, internally striped, acid-etched in relief with vitrified flowers, buds and leaves, the stopper of flower form and acid-etched with stamen 18.5 cm highA couple of pin-prick abrasions to the end of the shank of the stopper and some wear to the outside of the shank in keeping with being moved in the neck. There are some acid marks on the rim of the neck and on the foot but this is how it was made. Some tiny open bubbles, again from the making process. Light natural wear to underside of foot.

There are some scratches and scuffs on the side and natural wear to the sides of the cap. The strainer has light wear and there is wear to the base and foot.

The masks would have sat on the sides of the globular vase and the serpents open mouths would have grasped the rim of the everted rim.NO VASE - only the handles.Glass:- One mask has a small chip to the top of one eye lid, a few scratches on her cheek and chin - on the back of this mask there has been some grinding.Bronze: - there are some old marks and scratches and some rubbing to high points.
